What was once the world’s greatest deliberative body is being reduced to a leftist clown show as the “woke” left struts its stuff.
On Saturday, news broke that the Democrats are going to remove all gendered words from the House of Representatives. On Sunday, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, a pastor, opened the 117th Congress with a prayer. At its conclusion, he said “amen,” and then added “a-women.” What he said was both stupid and sacrilegious.
I wrote here about the newly “woke” House’s push to remove gendered language. I pointed out that, in English at least, gendered words fall into two categories. There are words that describe a job using both male and female terms, such as “chairman v. chairwoman” or “steward v. stewardess.” For the most part, it’s not a big deal to change those words. Indeed, most of them have already been changed in ordinary usage. We speak of the “chair” or of “flight attendants.”
However, the House is also going to do away with gendered words that apply specifically to the realities of human biology. No longer will there be “sons and daughters” or “mothers and fathers,” or any other descriptors that are tied to genetic codes that make people male or female. Instead, there will be “parents” and “children,” as well as other “gender neutral” language, as if there is no difference between the sexes.

At this point they are just f^^king with us.
What will they do when everyone is the same gender? They won’t be able to claim that women are paid 76% of what men are paid. They won’t be able to claim that men are rapists. They won’t be able to have women-only teams. They won’t be able to chant “first woman”! Facebook won’t be able to have 58 “genders.” Everyone will get the same pronouns.
They use gender distinctions when they can claim discrimination. Otherwise, they ignore them.
Yep. I know most thinking people are calling this crap Marxist, but I see a very Mao-ist tint. Well, you know the Left! Always changing words/meanings....Guess this big move of the global Leftist is Neo Marxist/Maoist/Technoligarchy. Not very catchy, but what it looks like. I think Wednesday 1/6/21 is THE HILL TO DIE ON. Not many other hills after that one.

I laughed. The guy missed his calling. He should have been a jester.
Each and every right-thinking (small r) member should make a point of defying any rule requiring ‘non-gendered’ speech.
It would have been nice if the good Reverend had quoted something from Palms.
