this was all more of a foreign coup than a US Presidential election at this point
Why on earth did Trump think it was a good idea to call the GA Sec of State on JANUARY 2? Who is advising him?
Who recorded the call?
Who delivered a copy to the Bezos Post?
After listening to this, Raffensperger is even more slimy than I thought he was. His heels are dug in firmly. Bastard would not give an inch!
“...in a downright despotism opposition is dangerous whether the despotism is official or whether it is unofficial...”
“A community rates low on the ‘Information’ scale when the press, radio, and other channels of communication are controlled by only a few people and when citizens have to accept what they are told.”
“See how a community trains its teachers”
“...these students are being taught to accept uncritically whatever they are told. Questions are not encouraged.”
“And if books and newspapers and the radio [and facebook and youtube and...] are officially controlled the people will read and accept exactly what the few in control want them to. Government censorship is one form of control. The newspaper that breaks the government censorship rule can be suspended. It is also possible for newspapers and other lines of communication to be controlled by private interests...”

“The newspapers of a real democracy meet these tests...”
Newspaper checks.
1. Balance of coverage
2. Disclosure of source
3. Competence of staff
he really hasn’t a choice. If a Biden term doesn’t materialize the remainder of his life will be as a Benedict Arnold
Trump had some choice words for Ruby Freeman.
Wow - I’m listening right now and Trump is stating facts, numbers and everything else. This election is truly screwed up.
nobody on this.
He can’t help himself.
He’s a great president but he has flaws.
And one of them is sometimes he can’t double think his impulses.
Like making this call knowing there was a great chance it, like so much else, would be leaked.
smh
It sounds like the recording was done in the same room as Trump on a conference call.
President Donald Trump has filed two lawsuits - federal and state - against GaSecofState. The telephone conference call GaSecofStatesecretly recorded was a “confidential settlement discussion” of that litigation, which is still pending

The audio published by @TheWashingtonPost is heavily edited and omits the stipulation that all discussions were for the purpose of settling litigation and confidential under federal and state law.
We all thought Trump has something up his sleeve. That phone call reveals he does not. Why call up a corrupt official at this late date? Did he expect him to say, “Okay, I will do what you wish.” It was like reaching out to pet a rattlesnake.
also, don’t you think whitehouse also have a copy? president trump would record this call just to protect himself in case people would misconstrue the conversation.
Prolly giving him one last chance to come clean and do right by the people of Georgia.
Check Brad’s WIFE’s BANK ACCOUNTS....Maybe his kid’s also!! He seems so damn DIRTY....especially for a so-called Republican!
I hear something at 4:08-4:12 where you can hear whoever is wearing the recording device bump/rub the microphone.
Put your cellphone in your shirt or coat pocket and that is when you will hear if you shift about.
The more Brad Nothingburger talks, the more he can incriminate himself. From a PR point of view, the audio can be used to build the case for the GA legislature to decertify the election. A new session starts tomorrow.
There is no way he didn’t know they would leak it, proving once again who they are;David Shafer

But the question remains, who sent the tape to the Bezos Post who heavily edited it?
