I think the events of this past year shone brightly on Dem corruption. They hold power in the cities because those are the easiest places to fraud the vote. Of course, corrupt media help them stay in power with disinformation, but it is the fraud voting that is the foundation of their power.

It would help tremendously to prosecute them for violations of their oaths of office and other crimes. The failures of the FBI and DOJ have contributed a great deal to the problems.

I wonder if God would save an unrepentant sinner like New York City.

Well we had them for 20 years, even if Bloomie was a social prog. Between Rudy and Bloomberg the city had returned to being a great place to live and do business. But with the loss of middle class, loss of small businesses, rise of critical race theory in public policy, it is doubtful any center left, let alone center right can ever be elected. The problem now is the primary is, in a word, primary. There are no Republicans with the status of Rudy or bucks of Bloomie.Castamiadis, who owns WABC Radio and Gristedes and D’Agostino markets is the best bet if he wants to try.

I believe he is, and he would be the “best.” As I recall, the turnout has been low in NYC mayoral elections. People need to vote. The same thing happened in Chicago. There were some interesting candidates running. About 31% of the voters turned out, and it went to a runoff between Lightfoot and Preckwinkle, the Cook County Board President. About 31% of the voters turned out for that, and Lightfoot won in a “landslide”: about 17% of the eligible voters elected her.

I have a client who’s lived in CT for 20+ years. She’s a conservative in the belly of the beast. She said CT is being overwhelmed with New Yorkers, raising Real Estate values. At least a lot of these left wing elitists are staying in areas already infected with their imbecilic voting habits. She’s selling and going south.

To me, NYC will always be the greatest city in the world.

Damn the negativity. NYC has often been a target for haters, on the forum. Probably by haters who have never lived there. Spread your sunshine New York!

Say a prayer for New York City? OK I will.

Dear God in heaven please look down in tender mercy at the evil wicked people that have disobeyed your will. Help them to see the foolish errors of their ways and help them to repent of their sins and return to normal godly American values. Help them to see that if they do not repent and if they continue on their evil ways that they will burn in hell for all eternity.

Amen.

Wall it off and let them rot. NYC is getting exactly what it voted for and what they deserve.

It will be back.

They wrote it off in 1977 and 2001 as well.

The only thing I can muster is a prayer they don’t take us down with them.

There are a very large number of patriots here. NYC is hardly a cesspool. It's a bastion of capitalism and has some of the best food and culture in the world.

While there are a large number of patriots in the New York City area, most of those are commuting in from somewhere else, are far outnumbered, and are cornered into hiding their true beliefs. The city itself is teeming with mentally defective people who adhere to Socialism, they'll also embrace any lunacy in a cult-like fanatical fashion.

As for New York City being a bastion of Capitalism, it's a bastion of Crony Capitalism using government to take money from taxpayers from all over the country. Wall Street's "Too Big To Fail" was an excuse to keep them from going to prison.

NYC residents have been arrogant depicting themselves as the center of the universe forever.

Exactly! They have always preened and thought of themselves as better than anyone else. I have been to NYC once in my life. I was seriously unimpressed by it. Dirty, crowded and noisy. Bah!

I can imagine, though, that the current residents were not happy at seeing film of their Mayor and his wife dancing in front of the New Years "ball" of light, when no one else was allowed to be in Times Square. I cannot believe how tone deaf these politicians are at this time. Their arrogance is beyond belief.

If no one is going to ‘physically’ stop them, they’re going to keep going.

I can’t go anywhere in my suburban Philly county without seeing a New York license plate. And they look like libtards to me. It angers me to no end. Get the hell out and fix your leftist mess, NY.
