"Crazy on You" is a song by American rock band Heart from their debut studio album, Dreamboat Annie (1975). It was released in March 1976.
Heart lead singer Ann Wilson wrote the lyrics.
The song opens with the acoustic guitar stylings of Nancy Wilson, Ann's sister and bandmate. She plays for 45 seconds before Roger Fisher's electric guitar blasts in.
Nancy recalled how the instrumentation was inspired by a classic Moody Blues tune.
"I remember I had a bad flu and was kind of delirious," she said. "The lyric was so great that it kind of lifted me up in my sick bed. Two days later I was better, and we started to set it to music. We were listening to a lot of Moody Blues back then. There was a song called Question that had this fast, fiery guitar rhythm. That was our idea for the groove. Then Roger Fisher came up with the really cool riff over A-minor to F, and that gave it some more beautiful momentum."

I change the channel every time this group comes on.
I always get it confused with a Steve Howe intro to one of Yes’ songs, can’t think of which right now. Usually disappointed when it breaks into Heart, but this is one of those massively overplayed songs that I CAN still listen to.
I went to a Heart concert in Houston in the late 70's.
My first ever concert was Peter & Gordon in Manila in 1966.
Still, my best ever concert was Led Zeppelin in SF at the Filmore West in 1969.
Worst concert was Eric Clapton in the late 70's in Mobile.
Grace is good, but can’t hold a candle to Wilson—not in voice control, not in strength, nowhere’s nohows.

2013 Hall of Fame.
Heart, Rush, Rap - “Cross Roads” jam.
I recall in some interview where Heart and RUSH played opening(?) acts for others and there was some discontent among them.
In searching for that - I did see something about Nancy Wilson doing some album and there was a high pitched note in there. The producer said something like “I think that’s Geddy Lee!”
Wilson put Geddy Lee in the credits!
Oh ... those crazy Canucks!
That was just awesome..........Youtube is the best thing that ever happened to the internet and that was probably the awesomest performance ever....thanks
Truthfully, I am not much of a music guy at all. I rarely listen to music nowadays and when I do it is a snippet I come across while surfing on the internet of an old classic I liked when I was in my "yut".
I stopped listening to the latest "popular" music back when I went on active duty in the military in the early 70s. My limited musical knowledge pretty much predates that.
Watched a couple other videos after yours and that gal is a monster player.......wow!
Sorry, no. Never heard of it.
