More than a few callers argued that the Clintons had the plane destroyed. I dismissed these arguments out of hand. I believed then, and believe now, that an American president would never do such a thing...
But I was wrong. The evidence does not support a terrorist scenario. Here is what we know for sure about Ron Brown's last days...

* The doctor who said this was "possible" said "possible" not "definite" and never examined the body.
* The doctor who did examine the body ordered additional x-rays and could not find the bullets or fragments.
* Several other people had the same fragments show up under x-ray, which meant the film had a problem.
* All the claims Brown was going to turn over started after he died when he wasn't around to challenge them.
I always thought the Ron Brown conspiracies were weak. Just how it was supposed to have happened never made sense. Pilot error induced by the boss pulling rank makes more sense.

Plane “crash” in shallow warm water, where Navy Seals just happened to be practicing. The plane didn’t crash, sink and nobody else was injured.
If a person will kill one, they will kill a million. What is death to a sociopath but not their problem?
I dislike how “Russian inferior flight control standards” bla bla blah are used. Like my sister calling Brazilian medical testing of Ivermectin as “third world”. The Russians are and were very good at navigating and flying. They beat us to Space. American medicine is third world, except for “our betters”.
It’s my understanding that the pilots told Brown before they took off that they couldn’t go because the weather was too low and they weren’t legal for the only approach procedure into Dubrovnik but Brown pulled rank and insisted they go. That’s what I was told shortly after the crash by people familiar with it.
Take that for what it’s worth, I don’t have any official knowledge of anything. I do know from being nearby at the time that the weather was really bad and there’s no way I’d try to land in that weather at an airfield with soviet era navigational aids. I believe it was a case of a cabinet member pressuring pilots into flying into weather they weren’t equipped to handle and against better judgement they went ahead.

To add a bit to your succinct explanation, I happened to be close by having breakfast at a French army camp that morning. A runner entered and exchanged some words with the Commander, who excused himself, pointing to a plume of smoke about ten miles away and saying a plane had crashed. It was sunny where we were dining but I did notice a line of low clouds behind the smoke. I fly a bit and it did not strike me at the time that it was a weather related accident. That is my informed opinion and somehow I was not surprised by the aftermath.
The 1990s was a really hard time for the USSR. The Soviet Union collapsed over three years and formally dissolved in 1991. Ron Brown died in 1996, you will not find many who said the USSR was having a strong recovery by then. I had a friend who went to Russia during this time and it took several days to arrange a international phone out of Moscow. During this time, their civilian and military hardware really was bad.
The only depravity someone of that ilk is incapable of is leaving undeniable evidence - body counts do NOT matter, only objectives.

Other airplanes landed and took off minutes before and after Brown’s 737. The weather excuse is as phony as Barack Obama’s birth certificate. The weather didn’t put a .45 caliber hole in the top of Brown’s head, and it didn’t disappear the X-rays, and the weather didn’t destroy the careers of the lab technicians. And it sure as hell didn’t open the Stewardess’ femoral artery so she would bleed out on the helicopter hours after she’d survived the crash. Nor did the weather murder the Bosnian in charge of navigation aids before he could be questioned. Brown was murdered along with everyone else on that doomed aircraft. And, yes, there really are sick people (like the Clintons) who don’t mind a little collateral damage (Waco or Benghazi anyone?) every now and then.
