it’s hypocritical to have a “nfl live thread: week 17 (boycott party edition)” and then post about everything about every game about every team that you’re watching every week that you were screaming you were going to boycott...
what the hell happened???...

Well, personally, I don’t know if I “screamed boycott, boycott, boycott”. I know I said it was anti-American, communist drivel. I’m spending no money on the NFL, not buying merch, heck, I even got a year off on paying for my season tickets with the Texans this year.
It’s disrespectful to our military, our police, and our American fans. Frankly, just like the movies today, they have to be PC so they will be shown in China, because of its huge market. I’m totally against that. They want to see it, they see it as we see it.
Hell, if 1984 came out not as 2024, there’s no doubt that Winston would be portrayed as the hardened criminal, and the Ministry of Truth was just trying to help right the wrongs of the past.
I don’t watch any of the award shows, either (Emmy’s, Grammy’s, Oscar’s or Tony’s) - but I make a pick of who I think they will choose for Male Lead, Female Lead, Best Picture, etc. Does that mean, I am supporting them? Not on your life.

I have to admit I was sometimes mystified by Lynn's play calling and strategizing in some of the Chargers games.

First and foremost a QB. And some skill players on offense. And help on the D too. Lot of work to be done. How long will Belichick hang around through the rebuild? Because I don't think Kraft will ever fire him.
Why the deuce did they fire Jimmy Caldwell? The “Sphinx” had a pretty good record by Lions standards. And it looks pretty certain that Belichick assistants are doomed to failure, for whatever reason.
