I have a hard time understanding this. It is obvious the election was stolen and Trump actually won big time. Why would Mitch be so against challenging the electors for certain states? The evidence is there and clear it was a major fraud. The only reason I can think of to explain it is that Mitch and most all of the republicans in the senate are supportive of this coup now and probably have been a part of it the entire time 4 years. We the People will have to rule.

It’s because they have received and will continue to receive money in the future. It’s not just the democrats that are sucking up our tax payer money and foreign money. It’s some republicans also. Powell said in a interview a while back to not be surprised when we find republicans mixed up in this also. Trump and Rudy separated themselves a little bit at that point. I think Trump still wanted to keep the GOP together as much as he could for support down the road. But they are turning there backs on him. They are afraid of what’s coming and want him out so they can go back to business as usual and not be investigated. They know the next administration will investigate them like they did the Hillary emails and biden laptop. It gets buried and a few lower level people or people they decide to ruin will take the fall. The swamp is deep and on the 6th we may see how deep it goes. The courts all the way up to the SCOTUS won’t even look at the evidence. The evidence that we see and hear every day.

One, it's futile. The House will not vote to sustain objections.
Two, even if it was possible, the Democrats would do the same thing to the next elected Repulican President. Remember, Al Gore certified the 2000 election despite his lawsuit and Joe Biden certified the 2016 election despite all the Russia nonsense. If this precedent is set the Dems will not hesitate to use it regardless of the legitimacy of the election.
