The decision comes five weeks after rumors started circulating that the building housing the restaurant was going to be up for sale. A representative of Garcia Family LLC, a group of 10 who own the Mt. Diablo Boulevard property, did not immediately respond to a message regarding the property. But, in an email to the East Bay Times, Laura Shields says the group plans to sell.
What is an empty restaurant worth?

Sometimes I think when this is all over (whenever that is) choices will be limited. No Mom-and-Pop anything, whether it's restaurants, grocery stores, movie theatres, banks, whatever.

11 years ago we had to move away from Michigan due to the economy.
Our all time favorite restaurant is El Charro. (Obviously not thenone in the article).
We return once or twice a year and never once have we not rated there.
The tyrannical governess has shut down indoor dining but we’ll be getting takeout tomorrow while on our illegal vacation.
