If you've never seen 'Star Trek Continues', find it and watch.

Chris Doohan, James' son, plays 'Scotty'. It is very well done.

“Scotty, the chief engineer on the fictional U.S.S. Enterprise who was always scrambling to heed the cry, “Beam me up, Scotty!” ...”

Actually no one on TOS ever said that line.

Will his remains go down with the ISS when it is de-orbited in a few years?

I agree. Star Trek Continues was excellent. Could not believe they were able to get some of the guest stars that they did. Lighting, Story, Style, Music, Sets.
Unfortunately, only a few episodes due to copyright issues.
They should have worked something out and did this series instead of some of the crap on now.

If necessary, he'll sit on the engines and nurse them himself.

Wait, what engines?

Star Trek - STD <- yeah they se those initials...
A terrible sci fi tv show. It is not Star Trek nor was Picard. The agreement was they could not use more then 40% star trek ideas. So they went “woke” and also became very violent. STD has a crew of angry looking people. No one to like. The reviews are pretty brutal about the show.

now that the general location within the ISS has been disclosed, two things could happen prior to de-orbit: a) it’s found and flipped out into space to join sample #2 already floating around in space, or b) it’s found and ends up in the Space Force museum in a nice display case as an honorary Guardian. Since the ashes sample is laminated onto a photo, I kinda like the latter.

Yes but who will remind them later on when they de-orbit it?
