Hilaria Baldwin and her husband, Alec Baldwin, defended her identity on social media after it was revealed she was born in Boston, Mass., not Spain, as she had previously claimed.
The 36-year-old yoga/wellness expert reacted to a tweet over the weekend, which said, "You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade long grift where she impersonates a Spanish person." The tweet has since been deleted.
Hilaria Baldwin has claimed she was born in Mallorca, Spain, and raised in Boston. She explained on a podcast in April 2020, "I moved here [to America] when I was 19 to go to NYU from… my family lives in Spain, they live in Mallorca." The bilingual mother of five's accent has also noticeably fluctuated over the years when she made appearances on TV.

Alec Baldwin also stood up for his wife online after she was accused of cultural appropriation.
"Just a lot of s--t," the 62-year-old "30 Rock" star said on Instagram. "You have to kind of hack your way through the debris of Twitter. Twitter is just a vast orchard of crap. And I have certainly slung some crap in that orchard myself every now and then with things I’ve said. So, that’s not lost on me that I’m guilty of that as well."
Her stepdaughter, Ireland Baldwin, also defended her and slammed her detractors as "sad and pathetic."
"She’s a caring person who has always respected my relationship with my dad and I have a great relationship with her. … Hilaria is a wonderful mother who takes great care of her kids and she takes great care of my dad and that’s really all that matters to me," Ireland Baldwin said.

Well, was Hilaria Baldwin born in Spain or in the United States? This is important to me as I was planning to back her for president in 2024.
If she was born in Spain she would, of course, be ineligible. Then I’d have to find another minor celebrity’s spouse to support.

I’ve seen chatter online questioning my identity and culture. This is something I take very seriously,and for those who are asking— I’ll reiterate my story, as I’ve done many times before. I was born in Boston and grew up spending time with my family between Massachusetts and Spain. My parents and sibling live in Spain and I chose to live here, in the USA. We celebrate both cultures in our home—Alec and I are raising our children bilingual, just as I was raised. This is very important to me. I understand that my story is a little different, but it is mine, and I’m very proud of it.

Is Ireland Baldwin Irish? If mom is hispanic because her family moved to Spain a few years ago, she’s as Irish as her Spanish mother.

I’m a “victim” of one of Baldwins tantrums. I was driving down Central park west about ten years ago and came to a stop light and this guy on a bike came around to my right and smacked the hood of my car and yelled “WATCH WHERE YOU’RE GOING” so I put the car in park and got out and yelled at him “Don’t hit my effin car!” and he claimed I almost hit him passing which I did not! And I saw it was none other than the supreme d**khead himself, so I denied doing what he said and told him his movies suck lol lol. The guy is a complete head case. Fighting with people driving seems to be a hobby of this guy.

You’re right. Alec Baldwin is right. I’ve spent time on Twitter defending the president to a bunch of morons; I actually got kicked off of Twitter for a while. I told one guy, “Why are you spending your time here? Why are you obsessed with President Trump? Why not go back to your basement and ask Mommy and Daddy to order you another pizza?”
I consider being removed from that cesspool a badge of honor. LOL!
