My Comments on linked Irish Times article [Fintan O’Toole: Trump has unfinished business. A republic he wants to destroy still stands]
irishtimes.com ^ | Dec 26, 2020 | Vanity, plus Fintan O'Tool of the Irish Times

I find this article by the Irish Times interesting. Somehow the deep state set an anchor in that lovely country. I recall seeing an unintentionally horrifying picture of Hillary Clinton photographed standing in a church doorway, holding a defenseless orphan in her claws (I think I wrote then that she was shown baring her teeth).

So the article is yet another MSM hatin' on President Trump, and it holds up as proof that the President brutally fired Chris Christie the day after his election victory party.

Chris Christie recalls later that his 13 stuffed ring binders, holding the detailed presidential transition plans put together by the 140 person team that he chaired, were thrown in the trash as a result.

The Irish Times' writer is still keening over the loss of the Deep State's plans to chain the new Trump administration to the floor.

"The political message was one that took longer to sink in. A transition plan implied some kind of basic institutional continuity, some respect for the norms of governance.

At the beginning, as at the end, the idea of an orderly transition of power was anathema to Trump."

Wish I could have personally witnessed the shock and awe of the Deep State as the President easily slipped the leash. In hindsight, it's likely many Trump skeptics based their fears on the gatekeepers whom he temporarily allowed to cling to him during his campaign.

"But he also kept his eye on the great strategic prize: the creation in the US of a vast and impassioned base for anti-democratic politics."

The article is so over the top it's unintentionally funny; the writer asserts Trump didn't start a war because that would affirm the concept of governance. O'Toole's use of the term "right wing anarchism" is eye catching amid the ashes of cities burned to the ground by "peaceful protestors".

The writer's target is actually President Trump's supporters whom he returns to blame again and again: "This is his legacy: he has successfully led a vast number of voters along the path from hatred of government to contempt for rational deliberation to the inevitable endpoint: disdain for the electoral process itself."

Prayers up for the innocent in Ireland whose lovely land and patriots are enduring the lash of the globalsts infecting the Emerald Isle.

There’s no tool like an Irish tool. Fintan is a tool.

Fintan is/was a regular on CNN and MSNBC... say no more. I remember getting handed a copy of one of his screeds a year or so ago and it didn’t look much different than this one.

Fintan is one of the absolute worst at that rag, which is nothing but a propaganda rag for the EUSSR. His type have no problem selling out his own country’s sovereignty while rhapsodizing about its long-ago fight for independence.
