It could take researchers months to determine just where that viral security guard is stationed, because it requires monitoring people who have already been vaccinated. According to Baseman, a study focusing on vaccinated people “with high levels of mixing and high risk of transmission,” such as college students, could provide faster data on post-vaccination transmission. Michaud expects focused transmission studies to be conducted in "the coming weeks and months."

But until long-term trial data or other experimental results are released, post-vaccine infectivity will be made clear only by measuring the spread of the coronavirus through populations with high vaccination levels. If the spread slows, it will demonstrate that transmission is lowered by vaccination. But it is expected to take much of 2021 to reach high levels of vaccination even in countries at the front of the line, so that approach could take the better part of a year.

According to the FDA, most vaccines that protect from viral illnesses also reduce viral transmission by those who are vaccinated, and there is reason for optimism that the current wave of COVID vaccines will, as well. Most notably, Moderna’s vaccine trial showed some reduction in asymptomatic infections as measured through nasal swabs, which could suggest reduced transmission after vaccination. Dr. Eric Topol of the Scripps Research Translational Institute has described those findings as inconclusive, but promising on the question of post-vaccine transmission.

Until more conclusive data arrives, though, the message from health authorities is clear: Even after you've been vaccinated, don't toss that face mask.

Funny. When my children received chicken pox and measles vaccines, no one said a thing about this. Or the flu vaccine.

we’ll find out for sure after we’ve vaccinated all 350,000,000 Americans.

“oh, hey, it turns out that the vaccine prevents the spread of further infection. darn, didn’t know that before we charged the gubbermint for 400,000 doses”

anything else is just bad business.

It’s a virus with a 99-plus-percent survival rate.

Cut the crap.

Which means the vaccine would merely make the vaccinated asymptomatic carriers.

Sorry, but you can’t have this both ways. Either asymptomatic carriers are scary super spreaders therefore we all have to mask up and social distance, or asymptomatic carriers are not a threat due to reduced transmission.

All people may be going to die, how do we know???

Check back in a hundred and ten years and see of anyone alive now is still alive then.

Maybe, could be, might be, are all BS terms used by the media to stir up a story that does not exist.

The science clearly showed masks were ineffective to prevent viral transmission prior to the hysteria, studies that show it during the hysteria, and eventually they will admit this *after* the hysteria.

It is the same with the arbitrary 6’ distance when studies show 20’ or more is necessary and it is ineffective inside structures with forced air.

If we were realistic about this we would truly follow the science instead of having the most vulnerable venturing out with false confidence.

And now here we are..... predictably the “vaccine” that was supposed to end the pandemic according to the experts prior to the election will now not change a thing for anyone?

Color me surprised.....

If I need BOTH the vaccine and the mask, I’ll choose neither. I’ll take my chances then and so can everyone else. But I suspect this is like the myth of asymptomatic spread. Just another reason we’re supposed to submit to our political masters. While they vacation.

I plan to get the vaccine. Saw a calculator that showed how high you would be on the list to get it. I’m in the last 15%. Maybe if I pretended I was a POC....

They will keep moving the goalposts.

They will never let us up.

My entire immediate family, all 12 of us including my children’s spouse’s all have it. Grandbabies are well! We shared a very nice Christmas Eve together because God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of peace, joy and of sound mind. We are recovering and will get through it and the communist scum that are trying to destroy us from within can all go pound sand!

"COVID-19 vaccine recipients may still be infectious."

----------------

As I've written elsewhere, then it's not a 'vaccine'.

But you may be required to get the shot anyway, even if aged 9-45, healthy and at greater risk of being impaled on a pitchfork than of developing FLI by this virus.

Here's the deal, admitted by Fauci himself:

That 'peak' in the screenshot HAD to be delayed. Otherwise there's no money to be made. The same money he joked about in 2018 also in the video below.

Outbreak Week, Harvard University, 2018

One more thing (ahem):

This quote

"If the spread slows, it will demonstrate that transmission is lowered by vaccination."

is TOTAL BS and undermines the entire article altogether.

They can KMA.

Take it with a grain of salt. The California anti-vax, hippie mom gangs were pushing that message about flu shots a few years ago, but with a claim that people with flu shots were shedding even more virus than people with the flu.

Generally, milder infections go with lower virus loads and less infectiousness.

Ah, masks don’t bother me, but then I only wear them when going into a store. Much respect for the store employees, who’ve been wearing them through full shifts for eight or nine months now. Will take the vaccine, too. No big deal. We’ll get through it. There were times, when I ran at MOPP 4 with full loads in 100-degree heat. It’s good not to be required to do that now. ;)
