Just tested. 5ms ping to the backbone with symmetrical 100 megabit connection through VPN. (89 up/83 down 5ms ping - encryption impacts speed a bit) Everything is snappy as can be. Its just you or your provider.

I was having major connection issues all day yesterday (Christmas Eve) with my high speed internet getting a whopping .20mb/down 20mb/up. This morning I'm back to 500mb/down 40mb/up.

Slow internet is often a local issue, or possible within your own home. Our internet is never slow, however it occasionally stops altogether and the provider always admits it’s their fault and soon corrects it.
