Perhaps Joe Biden Should Reside in Texas for a Few Years

Texas Statute

"Sec. 36.02. BRIBERY. (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly offers, confers, or agrees to confer on another, or solicits, accepts, or agrees to accept from another:
(1) any benefit as consideration for the recipient's decision, opinion, recommendation, vote, or other exercise of discretion as a public servant, party official, or voter;
....
(c) It is no defense to prosecution under this section that the benefit is not offered or conferred or that the benefit is not solicited or accepted until after: (1) the decision, opinion, recommendation, vote, or other exercise of discretion has occurred
....
(e) An offense under this section is a felony of the second degree."

"President-elect Joe Biden made a campaign proposal to erase $10,000 for roughly 37 million Americans who owe federally-backed student loan debt, and experts are divided on whether the incoming president will be able to make good on that promise."

Joe's proposal extends way past the usual political campaign promise. The $10,000 would go out regardless of student loan borrower need. From my point of view, we're at the unacceptable point where simply enormous sums are being offered with the primary purpose of buying votes.

The bountifully-baited 'Biden Plan' ad ran on television in West Coast Florida where I live (and probably in the battle state of Texas as well) offering $7,000/year 'child care' credits targeted at parental voters and $10,000 loan write-offs targeted at voters owing on student loans.

Pro-Biden voters (including millions eagerly awaiting their future payoffs) and the courts have already decided that Joe Biden will be our next president. However, I think twelve ordinary Texans should be given the opportunity before January 20th to decide where Joe Biden will reside during his forthcoming term of office.

By the way, how's the fraud fight working out? Have pro-Trump lawyers gotten even a single fraudulent pro-Biden vote offset yet?

Trump supporters can either sing "you can't always get what you want, but you can get what you need" real soon or they can sing "I can't get no sa-tis-fact-ion" any time after Chief Justice Roberts makes Joe Biden legally untouchable.

Eliot Ness was happy to get alleged bootlegger Al Capone for income tax evasion.

Then he’d have another reason to never leave mommy’s basement.

It’s OK. Here in Texas, we have some very fine nursing homes for Alzheimer’s patients suffering from severe dementia.

Jello for dessert every night if he wants it.

Didn’t LBJ invite Bobby to spend a little time down at the ranch?

I’m posting the Texas statute because Texas is apparently the one state willing to fight for what is right.

I was just snarking. I understood your point; just wouldn’t want Biden to come to my state, even for a hit and run campaign stop, much less to reside.

I just had this flickering vision of Joe BIden in a 10 Gallon cowboy hat, sitting on a bucking bronco.
Stage hands frantically signal the Clowns to come in and rescue poor Mr. Joe. “Somebody get Jill! She’ll know what to do!” said Joe.

Can he still get his illegal money from his off-shore accounts from there?

“ ...indeed.... let him come down here and spend a couple of summers.....that’ll fix his phoney liberal a$$ .......”

Hmm. Texans are going to continue allowing the influx of illegals with their language and culture along with the same from California until Texas is blue. Anyone that thinks texans are not permissive politically correct meek people is wrong.

Biden? What?

Texas....thanks to the seeds that Rick Perry planted is about to be as Blue as a state can be.

Dem’s can’t commit nor be found guilty of any crimes unless there’s another, more important, Dem to replace them.

Old Joe would be trying to ride a chicken while trying to lasso a parking meter with a sock.

SlowJoe actually did considerably better in Tx than Shrillary or Baraq. Not sure of the underlying explanation, although Tx is trending toward the blue.
