Rush's sign off was chilling. He could barely get out his sentiments. That final "Thank you" was hard to listen to.
All I can say is, "You're welcome, Rush."
No doubt he’ll hear, “Well done thou good and faithful servant”.

He might not understand the ins and outs of spiritual warfare. Most on “the other side” are controlled by something stronger than Rush. He did his best and he can’t be discouraged; he didn’t have the power.

I heard most of the show in a drive from San Diego to North Orange County CA. with my Dad of 92 years with me. It could well be his last Christmas. Rush sounded strong, there were a few times we chuckled together with Rush’s comments. I suspect we will hear him in the new year, how long isn’t up to Rush or us.
“It sounded like he may not be back after the first. Prayers up Maha.”
I hope we are reading too much into his broadcast statements.
The fact is, Rush will live longer than some of his listeners; and, perhaps, longer than our Republic.
I thought she was legit. I felt her frustration when she talked about the courts NOT EVEN LISTENING.
No doubt. I had a ‘hard’ cry over him this afternoon - more for myself and everyone else who will miss him. He’ll be fine.
Yes, a lot of us thought, "Win for Rush." And the fact is, WE DID WIN. Trump won the Electoral College AND popular vote. But Rush not getting to experience that as a thank-you for his decades of hard work? It makes me beyond furious. And I don't intend to forget it.
Many tears were shed by me during this show. Praying for my hero of more than 30 years.

You can starve the states. You can't stop paying income tax, but you can sure as heck spend a lot less money--and when you do spend it, be very careful about who you spend it with. Don't buy from China if you can help it, don't buy from any left-wing company (large or small), and so on.
If you're in a position to financially damage a leftist, do it. In hiring, firing, and spending money. At the same time, help fellow conservatives. And simply do not acknowledge the illegitimate Biden in any way. He's not the president, he's a thief. Bill Whittle, in his new podcast, has some great thoughts along these lines.

We are just sick that you are sick — but this earth is a fallen planet, and we both know that we have a better place to be, and that “all things work out for the good for those who love the Lord.”
You, with us Freepers, and other good Americans, actually TRIED to protect the good things we were given, like these USA.
And we have so far forstalled losing those gifts in this fallen world.
YOU especially a HERO in teaching and encouraging us all to do our best in protecting those gifts which we were given by God, gifts of a government which in such a fallen world works enough, and is fair, and does not deteriorate to the point of killing its own people, like every other government in the world has done.
And now “they want a King, like all the other countries have,” like the Jews asked for after they rejected Judges, which basically means rejecting the good things we were given, though we have still not given upon defending our miraculous government.
Rush, be happy and at peace, both now and in the future, you have done SO well, young man. And we later all hope to meet again in heaven, although the things of this earth may be so much NOTHING to us there that none of us will even care to remember these earthen days.
There is nothing more you need to do that I can think of — but knowing you, you are not done yet.

PS #2: I have talked to you twice on the air in all these years I have been listening to you (since 1988), and it has been an honor and an inspiration.
The last caller spoke for many of us. I know for myself, and a couple of friends who have commented that there is something magical about that music, and then hearing his voice at the very beginning. It is like taking medicine or something. I agree with the caller. My dad passed 25 years ago. I was a young man and was with him. Something about listening to Rush is like listening to him.
I could feel his love and devotion for his supporters and his love for the years of broadcasting.
He has done more for conservatism than anyone I know of, hands down.
We LOVE Rush here in our home.

On at least one occasion, Rush was discussing news articles and it was obvious that he was following the FR list of posts. One of the things that sets Rush apart from the others is his ability to predict the reaction of the left to various scenarios - he has always been able to read them like a book.

I would listen to Rush and follow FR at the same time. He does follow FR.
