Adam and Eve walked in a garden and listened to God's voice.
He said “because I love you, trust me and do not eat from this tree; it is the wrong choice”.
The snake, full of jealous hate, in order to manipulate,
told man “you're missing out if you don't partake”.
The apple they ate; they saw their naked side,
and knew they had to hide.
God saw the sin
and felt grief within.
He had to have shedding of blood and animal skin.
The man knew his wife,
children were born into sin and lived in strife.
They knew only how to take life.
God knew man had no way to become like him,
He was Righteous, Holy, no sin within.
God had to leave man;
and man had to leave the garden to go out and work the land.
Women had to give birth in pain.
Adam, “have all the animals a name?”.
God told man to leave the garden and for disobedience they carried a sentence of death.
Man lacked a bridge to span the rift;
that is why he sent Jesus, the sinless gift.
God sent His son Jesus, to leave His eternal home, to take on human flesh to pay the price for all.
Won't you accept this payment, the toll?
It's free and fully able, the gap and span fully bridged for you, if you will!
Thanks. I didn’t realize the formatting was lost when I posted it for the Mrs. this morning.
Merry Christmas!
