It’s confirmed that Wonder Woman 1984 is an anti-Donald Trump movie, which is something I’ve said about the movie for a while now.
And I’m guessing that is the real reason “they” wanted it released in December and didn’t want to wait until next June where “they” said the June release would be stale, which is because WW84 is getting released during the election.
The confirmation Wonder Woman 1984 is anti-Trump comes from the reviews for the movie that are now out as press screenings were held and the press are allowed to post reviews.
In their Wonder Woman 1984 review, Collider offers (no spoilers), “I Wish This Were a Better Movie.”
“Patty Jenkins’ sequel is a well-intentioned but sloppy punch against Trumpism,” says the reviewer.
The reviewer also happens to be anti-Trump (surprise) and offers: “Jenkins makes no secret to what she’s aiming for with her movie. Set in the 1980s, she depicts a world of excess, self-entitlement, and indulgence, and Lord is a distinctly Trumpian figure with his reliance on mass media and conning others to amass more power (although Lord differs from Trump by genuinely loving his child and not just seeing his offspring as an extension of his own vanity).”
The review also offers “the execution is atrocious,” “the movie doesn’t fare much better with Barbara,” and “Wonder Woman 1984 becomes even more muddled when you simply try to understand what Max Lord is up to.”
In an interview back in August, Jenkins also confirmed that Pedro Pascal’s (who recently called half the Star Wars fans nazis because they support Trump) Max Lord is in part inspired by Donald Trump.
“He’s one of them,” Jenkins confirmed when asked if Trump influenced the villain of the film. “Trump’s definitely one of the people we looked at, but it’s any of those kind of mavericks of business success that was big in the ‘80s. Who went on to be major players in our world in potentially questionable other ways.”
The good news for AT&T, WarnerMedia and Patty Jenkins is that they don’t have to worry about the Trump supporters going out to see the film, as WarnerMedia is releasing the flick in theaters and on the HBO Max streaming service the same day, so if it doesn’t do well in theaters, it really doesn’t matter.
To boot, WarnerMedia paid Jenkins and the cast as if the movie made a billion dollars at the box office in order to get them to sign off on the HBO Max release.
While I haven’t seen the movie yet, it seems that Wonder Woman 1984 has fallen into the same trap as all of Hollywood’s feminist and liberal projects, as the story is sacrificed for the sake of an agenda.
Why piss off millions of Americans?

I said, I’m not so sure. People have gotten used to microwave popcorn and Pepsi at a fraction of the cost you get in a theater.
The film industry needs to come up with something new to attract people.
I don’t think the long term Star Wars fans are going to like that at all. She’ll be getting roasted on Twitter and Instagram.
She scrambled this golden egg yet some libtard at Disney okayed Patty Jenkins to make a Star Wars movie? I really do wish Walt was cryogenically frozen so he’d be revived to rescue his legacy. You’d think the massive losses from the theme parks, films and not getting their money’s worth from bought franchises would wise them up but NOOooo. And now they’re gearing up to kill the Marvel wing off with the same crap.

Can’t wait for the sequel to the prequel of the reboot of the remake of the original series—I mean the first series, obviously, before, the earlier sequel to the first reboot—only this time with a Girl Power cast and strong trans-Muslim-Eskimo-Druid-refugee-rape survivor of color representation.

Add another 200 million for interest for the past year of the loans to finance the movie and the marketing that was spent just before it got cancelled earlier this year.
I think conservatives need to band together and get behind a plan to make low budget films for theatrical release only.
In other words, exploit the diminishing costs of digital filmmaking to bypass the traditional distribution channels.
I’m thinking that easy access to bootleg content is a driving force in the reduction of theatrical attendance (not counting the current Covid shutdowns). Plus, scarcity sells.
As an insider, do you think such a strategy would be viable?
My family of 5 goes to see a movie every Christmas. It is now a tradition. We loved the LOTR franchise and suffered through a few of the SW flicks.
WW1984 can die a painful, expensive death.
A good story.
Good triumphs over evil.
The bad guy is not always the white priest, white police officer, or white military person.
Promote the virtures of Christian living.
Do not insult over half your audience.
Do not try to convince the viewing public that what is good is evil and what is evil good.
Do not promote living a sinful life.
No more stories of the noble convict or criminal.
How is that for a concept?
If they were smart, they could have used a character that was part of the New Gods/Darkseid characters - a manipulator who was a servent of Darkseid and was good at manipulation and propaganda. They could have tied him in to the Justice League movie and the planned invasion by Darkseid on Earth. But no - they just cannot help themselves.

Yep, I was a BIG Doctor Who fan until they just had to have a female Doctor and I haven’t watched it since. I know is sounds chauvinistic but if they just had to have a female they should have made her Nurse Who.
Then they really screwed up the Captain Marvel character. It seems like they just hate men so much they just have to replace them with either a female or a gay character. I guess they don’t care as long as they get their liberal socialist street credit. I hope if anything good comes from the fake pandemic its the total destruction of the film industry, but I doubt it will happen enough to make a difference. Besides, they get an “essential work” excuse from all the fake pandemic restrictions.
