I would love to think it’s my “engaging personality” that makes me popular at parties but, if I’m being honest, I know it’s really my baked brie — a warm and creamy round of brie topped with honey, dried cherries and nuts, all encased in golden puff pastry. People love this stuff and always ask for the recipe. The truth is that you barely need a recipe; store-bought frozen puff pastry makes it super simple.

Just put my brie in a bowl of French onion soup with some good crusty bread.

The brie she uses is readily available, heck
I think walmart has it, for decent bread I recommend a Vietnamese market.

I had never heard of Baked Brie before now. Your photos and short directions are very helpful. I learn best by seeing something done. I will have to try making this. I don’t eat cheese, but I know of a small group of friends who do without hesitation. I will remember your warning, that once it’s done, leave it alone for about 50 minutes, until that cheese hardens back up. Otherwise, you end up with a fragrant, fruity, volcanic mess!

Seriously hot! brie is soft so its fine cooled but imagine they bake it to extract the other ingredients flavors.

Brie en Croûte is one of my favorites. I find that timing is everything. Unless you are hosting and have access to your own oven or have arranged to have access to an oven at another location, the Brie will not be hot.

Dried cherries are available at Family Dollar store and quite a few grocery stores in my area if central Texas.

Your engaging personality is sweeter than baked Brie.
