Grew up in the 70s/early 80s and was always fascinated by this.
Last year the movie Legend of Boggy Creek, a docudrama about a similiar creature in southwest Arkansas, was “remastered” in 4K. Purchased it and got it in the mail just before Covid hit.
Scared me then, scares me now!
Why not just make the price to the museum mandatory. Surely the fee is low enough people can pay it and would generate enough, well, maybe not enough but some towards the operations of.
So, how about some trail cameras in these areas crawling with bigfeet?
because bigfeet are invisible to trail cameras- i thought everyone knew that?
Then we’d see their shadows.
Here, too. Being a Trek fan as a kid, it also appealed to me that Leonard Nimoy hosted the series. A lot of those old eps were sensationalized and all of them filled with conjecture, but even today they’s still a fun watch.
only if you’re wearing beer goggles
Thanks! Surprisingly, I’ve never heard of the BDM before. Definitely on my list now.
When the author mentions quirky roadside attractions, how could she ignore the Mystery Spot?
Another great museum is the Canepa Museum in Scotts Valley. What a spectacular car collection! And much closer than Blackhawk.
Doable.
With all the cell phones and video cameras and trail cams around now, you’d think we’d have something better than that grainy old film. The same goes for that same old Loch Ness Monster picture from the 1930s
I believe...
BTTT
ping.
One theory I’ve encountered is that trail cameras rely on infrared detectors for triggering, and that Bigfoot could see into the infrared spectrum.
Imagine walking through the woods at night, only to see a bright blue beam shining across the trail in front of you. Personally, I would avoid the blue beam, just on principles, because it looks out of place.
That being said, it is a certified mystery why nobody has nailed a good photo of Bigfoot, despite everybody carrying a decent (cellphone) camera and lots of alleged close-up encounters with the Big Guy and/or his wife and kids.
Dang; they’re getting close. The edge used to be the Mystery Spot.
