I’m still shelling and sorting beans. Hoping to start listing squash seeds for sale soon. And taking my time with the seed catalogs, deciding what to order this year.

I think it’s going to be another rough year. I’m working on my equipment designs so the work will, hopefully, be easier. We’ll see.

I could spend most of the day at our Farm & Fleet

Yes, its web site looks similar! To think of the money I wasted buying fashion clothing back in the day...

Simple to make; incredibly good, tastes like melted ice cream. Drizzle over holiday pies, warm brownies. Add to coffee instead of milk.

White Chocolate Latté Drizzle
Stir/combine can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, cup unflavoured yogurt,
cup chp white chocolate, melted, tsp instant coffee granules---will have spots from coffee granules.
Cover/chill 2-24 hours. Can refrigerate 5 days.

Drizzled over chocolate cheesecake.

*GASP* I thought that was a picture from a ‘disaster strikes’ movie!

Simply amazing. Nature, that is. ;)

I couldn’t see the ‘Conjunction’ of Jupiter and Saturn tonight because it’s overcast by us, but I’m hoping for cold, CLEAR weather later in the week. December 21st is supposed to be when it all happens. Having the Crescent Moon in there is pretty cool, too!

He had a great day - his granddaughter (pregnant with her first child & his 3rd great-grandbaby) came to visit & brought him honey roasted peanuts & chocolate covered pretzels. For dinner, he got (and enjoyed) his requested menu. He just “facetimed” for the very first time with another granddaughter who is about 3 hours away. It’s been a “big” day and a good one with a surprise or two! The son of his college roommate/best man/best friend (now deceased) called out of the blue this afternoon and talked to him about 20 minutes and he enjoyed that immensely.

“To think of the money I wasted buying fashion clothing back in the day...”

I spent my money on Real Estate, but I will admit to being a ‘Fashionista’ back in the day, too. Mostly spandex and silky shirts and GLITTER at the height of Disco, Baby, LOL!

And my sister will NEVER let me live down my love of The Bee Gees and that I saw ‘Saturday Night Fever’ SIX times...when you actually had to go to a theater to see a movie. ;)

I made it! Last Monday, I finally cleared all of our stuff from the RV site! Thursday, a Nor-Easter blew through, dumping about 10” on the park, but we are free and clear!

Of course, the time spent clearing the site since Thanksgiving distracted me from get the snow thrower hooked up and it was the Armstrong Method for me. Fortunately, dry and fluffy!

Merry Christmas, All!

I’m with you! I’ve missed the show the last couple of days, but we here in Commiefornia are supposed to have clear weather tomorrow, the best day, as well.

I’ve set the alarm and am determined not to miss it! Closest pass in 400 years!

The only thing better would be a total occultation, where Saturn is completely blocked from view by Jupiter. The last one was 10,000 years ago, and the next one won’t come around until 7800 AD, approx. So it’s now or never!

Good luck there in Wisconsin. Get up high where your view of the horizon isn’t blocked!

These apple brownies were nummy!

I couldn’t find a good picture but they were mighty tasty. I added some fresh nutmeg and a hint of ginger and cloves.

My daughter and I made this yesterday. Very tasty. Tastes like mexican coca cola.

Overcast last night - hoping for clear skies tonight because this is the last hurrah before it’s below the horizon.

At least we got to see them quite close and with the Crescent Moon the other evening, so there’s that.

Fingers Crossed. I suppose yelling at clouds won’t help? LOL!

That’s interesting! Never heard of it before. And I know what you mean about Mexican Coca Cola. It DOES taste different than the American brand.
