What’s happening in Minnesota bodes ill for Democrats
American Thinker ^ | 19 Dec, 2020 | Andrea Widburg

Democrats’ reverence for criminals and their disdain for the working class hits peak insanity under Minnesota’s Governor Walz.

Across America, the Wuhan virus has allowed Democrats to implement some of their long-desired plans for “reforming” America in a properly Marxist mold. One of the most hallowed plans, which academia promotes, is “de-incarceration” (i.e., ending prisons). The other one, although it’s kept hush-hush, is to end that pesky, morality-driven, hard-working, freedom-loving middle class. Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz is working on both issues, with disastrous results for good people. That’s why this arrogant societal manipulation could soon prove to be the Democrats’ downfall.

Daniel Horowitz, writing at The Blaze, exposes what Walz is doing. The human face of these horrible leftist policies is Larvita McFarquhar:

Larvita McFarquhar is America embodied. An African-American single mom with four children to support, Larvita never asked for handouts. She opened Haven’s Garden, in Lynd, Minnesota, a family-oriented restaurant with an attached gymnasium for kids to have a good time. She is the ultimate entrepreneur and family woman, but in Walz’s Sodom and Gomorrah, she is now a criminal. She had the audacity to pursue the rights spelled out in the Declaration of Independence and kept her business open at great expense with full compliance with all the unscientific distancing restrictions.

For the crime of feeding her family, Walz, through the Minnesota Attorney General’s office, is filing documents to imprison McFarquhar for trying to stay afloat.

I really like the people from those states that I meet, generally. But I don’t understand their thinking.

Many of them develop a kind of Stockholm Syndrome. Their left-wing overlords terrorize and abuse them, but instead of rebelling, they acquiesce and even defend the overlord. The left know that, once people are hooked to their ideology, they can do whatever they want and people will simply endure.

Sorry, but I fail to see how one thing the DemoKKKrats are getting away with “bodes ill” for them.

This is nonsense. They are succeeding at every level. Even Ken Blackwell, a RINO, wrote a piece saying that Rs hold all the power positions in all the key states and are acting like frightened children. When Blackwell notices this, something is wrong.

“ The early December Wuhan event was a daughter outbreak of the original event, whatever and wherever it was.”

BS. Complete and total BS, said without facts.

“The enormous success of China...”

Doubling down on the BS. A friend of mine spent a month in China for work months before the breakout. He was told by friends and coworkers still there about how the Chinese police would weld the doors shut on apartments and station a guard outside if the number of infected grew too large. They were left to starve & die. China had other cities with major outbreaks, and suppressed storied of how bad they were.

They just let the virus kill who it would and then herd immune as developed. The CCP was fine with however many deaths it took...they had many more citizens than they needed or wanted.

That’s not success. It’s barbarism. And evil.

Absent revolt, there is no chance of being American in Minnesota

That’s increasingly true of every state in the country.

Nothing Ever will Ever hurt the Dems. The press will just frame Any failure as a success. If they get called out. They will just say that if they only went Further, it would have succeeded for sure this time.

2022 will bring fraud in all the Senate elections. You will also see fraud in Ohio in 2022, as well as Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan (Governors race), Nevada, and Arizona.

I don’t think it will be possible at this point to pinpoint an origin, but I’m quite sure what happened in Wuhan in December and January 2019-2020 was not the beginning.

First, thank you for your voice of reason here and for sharing your expertise. I very much appreciate it!

I am not a medical professional and these are honest questions.

If my memory serves, COVID originated in the intermediate horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus affinis), whose range encompasses central and southern China and Southeast Asia. Therefore, the pandemic (human-to-human transmission) of the virus must have originated in this part of the world, although precisely where and when it jumped from bat to human (perhaps through an intermediate host), we do not know for certain. Is this correct?

Again, if I remember aright, there has been an influx of Chinese into northern Italy over the past decade, mainly working in the textile industry. Given the extensive commercial ties between northern Italy and southern France, it makes sense the virus would spread easily between the two.

So, it seems possible COVID was carried by humans from somewhere in China to northern Italy in October, and then spread into southern France. But it does not seem probable.

What seems more probable to me is that this guy has it right:

“Reports of Covid circulating in Italy in autumn 2019, based on samples from a cancer unit, seem “weak”, said Prof Jonathan Stoye, a virologist at the Francis Crick Institute in London. “The serological data [from Italy] can most likely be explained by cross-reactive antibodies directed against other coronaviruses.” In other words, antibodies found in the cases in Italy had been triggered in individuals who had been infected by different coronaviruses, not those responsible for Covid-19.” Link: https://www.theguardian.com

Now I am left thinking the virus may well have been circulating in Hubei Province weeks or even months before the Lunar New Year celebrations in January provided a number of simultaneous “super spreader” mass gatherings that alerted the local health workers something new and strange and scary was indeed happening. Meanwhile, the virus had quietly been doing its thing and spreading worldwide.

Do I remember correctly? Where am I off?
