I wouldn't rely on Snopes to debunk this.

I would much rather rely on the principle that democrats are immune to arrest when acting in their party's interests.

First, if this is a violation of Georgia law (not federal law), then it would not be the FBI arresting Freeman. It would be the Georgia state police.

Second, there is not a single Georgia newspaper covering this arrest. Plenty over dope dealers, DWI situations, etc.

Finally, frankly....Snopes just isn’t much of an authority.
