A DCN review of scientific literature and anecdotal advice from scholars of taste and smell shows dozens of examples of coffee being used as the barometer for a kind of sniff-test for COVID-19, in part for its distinct smell and also for its availability in homes throughout the world.

I think bacon is a cure.
That was yesterday, I don’t even why I thought it was funny. Oh well
I realize this is way late in the thread, but I had cataract surgery this summer, just as soon as elective surgeries opened back up. I’m probably lucky that it’s not very sunny here except during the summer. I also had an intraocular multifocal lens inserted at the same time, which I am super pleased with! No more glasses! (I had my first pair of glasses at age 10, and believe me, they were NOT the fashion trend they are these days.)
So overjoyed with my clear 20/20 vision in both eyes, and full color to boot! Another note, when I had the first eye done and the cataracts removed, it felt like I was in an alternate universe regarding the colors. I guess that must have been my most impacted eye. It was like I had entered a completely new and never before seen place. The second eye wasn’t that dramatic, but the experience with the first (left) eye was truly otherworldly. Hope you are enjoying your eyes as much as I enjoy mine!
