That’s what I based it on; They made precedent for ignoring laws that are unliked, sow the wind...
My hope is instead of taking the usual AF1 plane ride home, he should use his own plane and give a “Flying Digit” to Wasted(Washed-out), DC!
I thought Trump had talked about holding a rally and announcing his candidacy for 2024 at the exact moment that Biden is sworn in? If he does then he'd better get the 757 out of mothballs.
Snore. Trumps going to win. Put yer crumpled panties away
Replacing the talking mouthpieces with patriots to broadcast facts would be of benefit.
Short of door to door firearm confiscation or the end of entitlement payments, there is no chance of an armed conflict.
Hope to join in before I’m too old.Got lots of old ammo to recycle
“It would be an astonishing feat to amass even 1 million people.”

If Trump called for it, he would amass more than 1 million...
Too bad I would not see you there...
“A whole article on a topic but can’t be bothered to use some capitalization.”
it’s an homage to e e Cummings

Its amusing you would say that because I attended countless Tea Party events and donated a lot of money to support them. I wasn’t able to attend the recent rally in DC but my son went in my place. How many rallies did you go to?
Part of my skepticism stems from recognizing how hard it was to get people out to support the Tea Party. Many sunshine patriots seemed to always have other personal things that took priority over demonstrating for their freedom.
Checkout Palmetto State Armory.
We are looking at a slow and horrible decline of the entire nation. At the end of it, we'll be as bad as Europe, except with free-speech being regulated by private companies, banks controlling who can and can't use their payment processors, Google deciding who can or can't get advertisement or funding for their websites, with millions of new Democrat voters flooding in from the borders.
It's either secession or we can just stop pretending that America exists anymore. Unless, of course, Trump pulls a Hudini at the last minute.

My scenario: Trump and his wife and son are Assassinated by a demented follower who is himself killed by Washington Police. It will be blamed on Russian Mafia. New Crackdown on any gathering due to Covid. Now plague starts. Only approved GOP will be permitted to run. Economy staggers under new Pro-China restrictions. US car business relocates to China. Navy is dismantled as we start to fight wars in Africa and south America. Don Jr. Runs for President and is assassinated. Biden wins re-election. New constitution approved and new American Anthem approved “This land is Your Land.” All Churches must pay taxes. Internet taxed 5% on sales to help the faltering economy. China takes over Viet Nam, and Cambodia. Bad Guys win.
No one wants to be the person named ‘crackpot terrorist’ for trying to be a true patriot. There are so many men who would act but don't want to be tomorrow's Tim McVeigh. Without the right spark, we die a slow death.
What is that spark?
Trump's final tweet - “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country”
A direct attempt on the President's life (or his family/inner circle. -— If anything happens to Kayleigh all bets are off.)
Democrats start mass arrests of gun owners -— anywhere.
Kyle Rittenhouse is murdered.
You get the picture, the spark would have to be struck to mobilize the passion of people who have become accustom to waiting.
To say we are lazy is to ignore what we are going through. “Wait for the kraken” - “Wait for Texas” - “Wait for the 14th” - “Wait for the 18th” etc... It's exhausting.
Sapwolf, I think brutusman meant this for you (Palmetto State Armory).
I am a DPMS/Panther Arms kind of guy.
We are in a state of such severe polarization of values that a struggle to the death is inevitable. There will be no reconciliation or compromise. One side will have to win.
Why am I getting lessons on the cost/benefit of war from someone who never served in uniform?
I don’t see how a 1865 type civil war can happen. Back then, it was easier for people to move to relatives on either side of the conflict and a distinct Mason-Dixon line drawn. With 330million people, and states mixed with Dems and Reps now, I don’t see how defined sides can happen. Seems to me it would be a very messy, house-to-house, neighborhood to neighborhood war of attrition resulting in proportionately more deaths than CW1
(also, re biden’s innaug - he knows there won’t be a lot of attendees, so to hide that, they are going ‘virtual’ with limited guests)
Honestly? It’s too cold for a war to start.
Not enough people would show up.
