I’d like to share my observation that a common thread exists amongst the various left-leaning political groups. I'm seeking related opinions.
Liberalism, Social Democracy, Socialism, and the Progressive Agenda all have this in common; each requires the government to legislate in areas where Congress is NOTconstitutionally empowered to legislate.
The left doesn’t set about this by proposing amendments to the Constitution; they set about this by using courts to circumvent the Constitution.
Totalitarian mindset.
I think the Left is all about Control. And I think the Left has figured out that Big Government and Big Business are the best possible team for maximum control. The government may not be able to restrict your speech, but YouTube, Google, Twitter, and Facebook sure can.
Eisenhower warned about the Military-Industrial Complex. I think the media convinced everyone that this meant “Defense Companies are evil” but what it really means is that when Big Business and Big Government team up, it’s Fascism.
The Left talks about Communism, but all Leftwing groups are basically pushing Fascism today.
When there is blood in the water the sharks circle, we are seen as weak, the hammer must fall mr president before the 20th let the chips fall where they may, we may never pass this way again.
What the left has in common is lack of common sense, voting and reacting on emotion and some sort of weird infatuation with self identity politics.
The last is really interesting, if you can’t look between their legs and figure out what you are is mind boggling.
The left are political ideologies based upon governance by elites who decide on what is best for the collective vs the right which are political ideologies based upon the preservation of individual rights and freedoms. The right, i.e. classical liberals and conservatives, believes what is best for individuals will ultimately benefit the collective.
Freedom does not interfere. Independence has faith in people to solve their own problems. Codependency has no confidence in itself and can not trust people to contribute voluntarily. Communism does not believe in God or the capability of man.
I've read a few articles that suggest President Eisenhower's original draft referred to the Military-Industrial-Political Complex.
