Keep dreaming. SCOTUS will never stop the process and declare a new winner. If anything, they’ll punt the ball to someone else. They do not want their names and reputations sullied by being fodder for Democrat candidates in the future. They also are very scared of the possibility of civil unrest.
SCOTUS is letting 20-542 just sit there with no movement whatsoever. That is the only case that was drafted and filed correctly with proper parties (and it was filed long before election day). Consequently, this suit is actually Trump’s only hope in the SCOTUS at the moment but they are letting it wither on the vine because they won’t make the hard decisions.
I think what we need to consider is that it IS a bombshell from the standpoint that SOMEONE in the mainstream media finally said it.

First, this anonymous "intel" (non-)"bombshell" may be invented only to boost Fox News ratings. ( Maria, however, has been quite professional in her presentations.)
The court, IMO, before looking at the facts and merits of the case is saying to the states, in essence, "the Constitution provides you with the remedy you seek, now do your job."
Of course, any intel source may be correct in that if the states do not do their job in the face of substantial and compelling evidence of a Constitutional failure, then the USSC may find a basis for stepping in. And, it appears, Trump may be prepared to act in the absence of any such court involvement.
