Question. All federal monies projects require intermittent drug testing and Marijuana is not permitted. Schools and Healthcare institutions all swim in federal dollars and are not intermittently drug tested. Why??
Why are you abusing the news forum?
Why are cops, teachers, universities administrators, congress, Senate, judges, city councils, county officials et al, not randomly drug tested? They have to power to destroy and ruin thousands of lives yet are not randomly drug tested like the lowly peasants at Chicken Licken and Home Depot are.

Part of the answer (not joking) is that the country would find itself with a crippling shortage of public school teachers if they did any drug testing. Marijuana use is widespread within that particular community. I think part of why they don’t test is because they don’t want to know.

As it is, small/large businesses have to turn away otherwise qualified job candidates for flunking their drug test.
The groups in govt and/or with powerful unions know it would disqualify a huge number of their workers with cushy jobs, golden benefits, tenure, etc etc.
This is nonsense - the only pot smokers I knew were vacant low-energy drones who never exerted themselves to achieve anything ...

Also, it’s a lot easier to hand out money and brag and tell lies about it than to it is follow up on where the money went. And the recipients are unlikely to want to help.
I asked this question in 4th grade.
None of my teachers could answer why it wasn’t allowed.
My Dad, a Sheriff Deputy explained it to me.
The money would stop flowing to poor families and crooks.
Politicians and judges won’t allow it.

I honestly do not care whether marijuana is legal or not.
It is the unfair application of the rules regarding marijuana and entities that take federal dollars that concerns me.

FedGov, healthcare and Education no tests

Still taking government checks, they can apply as school bus drivers in a county/state of their choice—and still retire handsomely.

I’ve known only three, and only one still lives. Each was on years-long oxygen towards the end. Maybe marijuana should be injected, instead of inhaled? Or would that lead to even worse drug dependancy...?
