Actually the 5.0 is a Coyote engine that is a complete redesign with aluminum block and overhead cams. It makes so much power it’s been banned by everyone that does HP shootouts. It puts LS motors to shame.

Drove a 2018 GT a couple weeks ago, it goes, no doubt. Of the 40+ cars I have had over the last 50 years, the most reliable and most fun was a 2006 stang gt, only issue I had was changing plugs in that 4.6 v8 but solved that with the right tools. Have gone from Falcons to Vegas to Pintos to VWs to MGs and worked my way up the food chain to my current Lexuses and Vette.
I doubt I will ever have an EV, I don't care how quick they are, if it doesn't have that rumble of a v8, count me out.

I did not know that, thank you... I assumed it was the old 302 Windsor rebuilt to modern specs...

I love the fact that when they retro’d the Mustang, they sortkindasorta took the 67-68 style and updated it...

Love the Mopar Challenger and Chevy Camaro too...

All that’s missing now is the GTO and Firebird TransAm... and maybe a Buick Wildcat thrown in :^)...
