Black Lives Matter activists are complaining about the lack of protection from law enforcement, despite actively calling for police departments to be defunded. At a "Defund the Police" rally in Washington D.C. on Sunday, BLM activists complained that the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is not doing enough to protect them.

That’s because BLM wants homeowners and shop keepers unprotected so their criminal buddies don’t have to worry about getting caught.
What is needed are bounties set on BLM and Antifa members.
To get the bounty would require showing evidence that the person (or carcass) is actually a BLM or Antifa member.
Defund cops. Cops quit! BLM starts getting their asses kicked. Complain why there are no cops? Viva Public Education!

Wow,such irony from these a-holes who pick off the most vulnerable at Trump events: the older,couples,children,diners,handicapped etc. I have no problem with a group such as Proud Boys curbing these scum like BLM,Antifa and Black Bloc.

Black Lives Matter activists are complaining about the lack of protection from law enforcement, despite actively calling for police departments to be defunded.
At a “Defund the Police” rally in Washington D.C. on Sunday, BLM activists complained that the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is not doing enough to protect them.
The apparently conflicting statements came during a press conference held in Black Lives Matter Plaza Sunday afternoon.
Anthony Lorenzo Green, a leader of the Black Lives Matter D.C. wing, said during the Sunday press conference that police are failing to “keep us safe.”
Green added that the mayor and MPD failed “to protect the rights of D.C. residents” during Saturday’s “Stop the Steal” Trump rally held in the nation’s capital.
“As we’ve witnessed for many months now during this uprising and for years in our own communities, MPD does not, cannot, will not keep us safe,” Green continued.

In June, BLM DC listed defunding the police as one of its demands during the city’s budget hearings, DCist.com reported.
The local news outlet reported:
On Saturday, protesters in D.C. made this point as concretely as possible, painting “Defund the Police” in large yellow letters next to the “Black Lives Matter” slogan Mayor Muriel Bowser had painted on a two-block stretch of 16th Street on Friday.
Nee Nee Taylor, a direct action coordinator for BLM DC, told the spectators at the plaza that they did not come to the area on Saturday to counterprotest the pro-Trump rally.

Taylor said they came “to make a safer place because no place is safe in DC for black people or people of color.”
“Here at Black Lives Matter Plaza is where we uplift the defunding of the police,” Taylor stated.
She said they should defund MPD because “MPD doesn’t keep us safe.”
Other speakers continued to lay out their case as to why MPD should be defunded and that they failed to protect “their streets.”
During the Stop the Steal rally, four Trump supporters were stabbed by a knife-wielding suspected Antifa member.
