"This is a cool old school simple badass muscle car. The owner had a numbers matching Plymouth 426 Hemi Belvedere GTX and wanted more power. So rather than swapping the motor he had the guys at Vintage Motorworks build it into a loud obnoxious badass street cruiser. This is Mopar in all its glory.
Sit back and enjoy the ride..."

My dad has an Olds Cutlass 442. I would take off the air cleaner cover off and replace it with a 33RPM record. Fit perfectly. Increased the HP like crazy and made a serious roar when you romped on it. Lots of fun.

How about a late 60s Imperial? These suckers were 20 feet long. Imagine you're a mafia boss and cruising in this true land yacht.

my brother just picked up a 67 Dodge Charger with 383 4 speed last week. Cool! I picked up one, too, not long ago. Bought it on eBay for only 9!
Below is a photo of me picking it up...

It’s definitely nice, but I like the New Yorker and Newport better.
I think it the Imperial was the car that customizer George Barris made into the Green Hornet car.

Great thread!!! Muscle Car Pron. Sweet!!! Got a story for you.
In AF, E-4, scraped cash together, bought a 68 convertible Corvette that was barely running, and poorly. Serious low knocking. Missing bolts in block, accesory brackets. Crappy tires. Got it cheap, a gamble.
Turns out it was a numbers matching 327/350HP 11:1 compression ragtop with factory air, electric windows, factory premium sound system, etc. Close to optioned out. And...the original build sheet was still stuck to the tank. Giant valve “Camelback” heads. Everything there. Just neglected.
Restored it, not super just nice. Balanced, blue printed, converted 2 bolt mains to 4-bolt, forged crank, undercut sst valve stems, electronic ignition, MSD, etc. Screamer, turned 8,000 rpm. And ran the piss out of it. Would lift 1 tire on launch. Just float it a bit. Whole frame would twist. Cranberry Red, black top and interior.

68 convertible Corvette ... Cranberry Red, black top and interior. Thanks. You obviously know a lot more than I do about the mechanics end of it. I know very little. But it sounds like one beauty of a car. The 69-72 Vettes were my personal favorites.
