Go Coast Guard!!! Oh, wait, I retired from the Army. But I never liked West Point officers. Had a run in way, way back in 1972 in Germany with what we called Third Lieutenants. They were those WP cadets that had just finished the soph year at the Point. They go out to units in the summer. He came to our unit. Was Mr. Bossee. Thought he knew it all. Telling my soldiers they did not have to listen to their NCO who was giving them instructions. I jumped his butt and told him to get away from my people, that he had no business telling my people what to do, much less to ignore what I told them to do. I went immediately to the first sergeant and told him and he went to the CO. Mr. 3d LT didn’t come around my squad any more. Stupid officers.
