Texas has filed its reply with #SCOTUS. Now we wait to see what the Justices will do with this multi-state election challenge.

They will punt.
The Supreme Chickens do not want to get involved.
How long do we wait?
SCOTUS went into conference at 10:00AM this morning.
About 15 minutes. The no has already been written.
Hoping ACB wipes the floor with John Souter Roberts...
By this Reply, Texas addresses Defendant States’ arguments that Texas fails to state a claim because the challenged actions did not change or violate state election statutes. In an effort to obfuscate their unconstitutional abrogation of election security measures in the name of COVID-19, Defendant States tack between misstating the facts pled in the Complaint and arguing that this Court can ignore the express language in those statutes. Neither approach has merit.
Texas addresses Defendant States’ arguments against Texas’s standing and purportedly alternate remedies to this action in its separate reply in support of the motion for interim relief.
Is it really so hard to wait until AFTER the Supreme Court rules on this to condemn them? I long for the day when Free Republic has been purged of all these FLeepin’ Negative Nancies!
All my nexus live in Texas...................
I hate to say it but I agree with you.
The will punt because the Constitution already has provisions for the congress and spinate to deal with this fraud and the USSC will expect them to do so saying it is not our place.
The remedy that Texas asks for is one that should be executed but they doubt there is support to not seat the electors from the insurrectionist states and I think they are correct. However, the court will say to let the chips fall where they may.

And I agree completely. Nobody here has a crystal ball. We can speculate on what people MIGHT do, but nobody here is affiliated with the department of pre-crime.
Me too, but given the history of spineless action under Roberts, I fully expect to be disappointed.
Of course they don’t.
I’m 70 years old. I thought I’ve seen everything in my lifetime, but a coup was left.
I’ve never as depressed as I am about this.
If we knew the enemy we could rally, and fight them, but we don’t know.
It sure seems like it’s China working with the democrats, that pulled this off.
Therefore, our president has to declare something, and never concede to these bastards.
If they punt Trump needs to take executive action and let the chips fall where they may. Declare war on China already.
Lives, fortunes and sacred honor time.
Praying that they walk the walk....
It is a pretty good point by point evisceration of evidentiary dodges by the defendants. Texas going into details of statistical evidence, vote count anomalies, backdating votes, and signature validation. These are the kind of minutiae that the SCOTUS does not typically deal with, but this is a special case.
I think they will provide the cover for the state legislatures to choose the Trump slate of electors. Then we get to wait on them to do what is right.

The problem with speculation is nobody stands up and says, "Oh, I screwed the pooch" on that call.
Success has a thousand fathers, failure is an orphan.
SCOTUS punts.
Democrats pack the court.
The current SCOTUS no longer exists.
Human nature usually is to protect yourself. The SCOTUS is no different. They can be powerful or not. What will they choose?
Why doesn’t it go to congress
