They will punt.

The Supreme Chickens do not want to get involved.

I hate to say it but I agree with you.

The will punt because the Constitution already has provisions for the congress and spinate to deal with this fraud and the USSC will expect them to do so saying it is not our place.

The remedy that Texas asks for is one that should be executed but they doubt there is support to not seat the electors from the insurrectionist states and I think they are correct. However, the court will say to let the chips fall where they may.

Of course they don’t.

I’m 70 years old. I thought I’ve seen everything in my lifetime, but a coup was left.

I’ve never as depressed as I am about this.

If we knew the enemy we could rally, and fight them, but we don’t know.

It sure seems like it’s China working with the democrats, that pulled this off.

Therefore, our president has to declare something, and never concede to these bastards.

If they punt Trump needs to take executive action and let the chips fall where they may. Declare war on China already.

It is a pretty good point by point evisceration of evidentiary dodges by the defendants. Texas going into details of statistical evidence, vote count anomalies, backdating votes, and signature validation. These are the kind of minutiae that the SCOTUS does not typically deal with, but this is a special case.

They ruled 5-3 in October on a Wisconsin case. They said the legislature makes election law. Roberts voted with the majority.

How is the TX case different?

I told wife earlier this AM that I expect the typical Friday evening (probably between 6 and 7 ET tonight) “news dump” that SCOTUS will ‘decline’ to get involved - despite the fact that there are absolutely unbelievably compelling Constitutional issues at stake here.

Also read that Texas’s opening statement in the suit said something about this case being about whether the Constitution still has meaning, or is simply an old piece of parchment on display at the National Archives (or wherever it’s stored). That’s really what it all comes down to. But I fear that the Constitution no longer does have meaning, because we’ve seen time and again no end of legal gyrations to get around what it DOES say. And I fear this time will be no different - especially with that traitor Roberts on the bench.

They will punt.

And establish a precedent for election corruption for all time?

For the first time I'm wavering a bit in my belief and hope that justice will triumph here. I wonder if the fix is in and SCOTUS will simply punt. Of course, there will be a 3,000 word ‘opinion’ full of legal gobbledygook as the Republic is euthanized.

The media is unreal this morning. Headline after headline painting Trump and his legal team as practically trying to overthrow the country. It's Orwellian. The exact opposite of what's really going on.

“Why Trump supporters won't accept election results.”

“Reality check for Trump's fantasies. Judges aren't his pawns on election results.”

“The ‘Trump Won’ Farce isn't funny anymore.”

“Seditious abuse of the judicial process” (This gem from
Politico)

etc etc etc ad nauseam.

Some lawyer named Tripp on War Room said that SCOTUS would punt because the evidence has not been fleshed out in lower court so they can rule on matters of law without getting into the details. They could kick it back but then there’s the timing issues.
Sad...
Sounds like Trump may have to go all the way to fight the corruption.

“The Supreme Chickens do not want to get involved.”

It will probably thrown back to the state legislatures with a sternly worded statement about the sanctity of the election process and changes need to be made.

And that will be it. Then again, there are five justices who are probably going to vote for Texas, with Roberts doing his dance.

The Supreme Chickens do not want to get involved.

Absent ACB, you are right.

With her on the bench, maybe not.

Time will show.
