Texas: Your election is fraudulent because you changes the rules outside the legislature.

Pennsylvania: To nullify our election is to ask us to change the rules outside the legislature.

Wait, wut?

You are right of course. I also blame the RNC because NONE of this happened in a vacuum and none of it happened overnight.

There are lots of ‘Republicans’ running around with dirty hands!!

Between the wholly dummied-down voter base and the criminally venal people in DC-it’s hard to be positive

This is nerve-racking because we know what is it stake here! May the Holy Spirit intervene right now where they’re sitting and convict their hearts to know the truth that if they fail not only will the Supreme Court be packed with nothing but liberal judges our country will be destroyed!

ACB is an originalist, and, as such, she knows the Founders provided a purely political process to resolve these matters, and she will write the 9-0 opinion denying cert and ending these cases.

They ruled 5-3 in October on a Wisconsin case. They said the legislature makes election law. Roberts voted with the majority.

How is the TX case different?

“Notably, Pennsylvania says nothing about the 118,426 ballots that had no mail date, were nonsensically returned before the mailed date, or were improbably returned one day after the mail date.”

“Lastly, Pennsylvania argues that it did not break its promise to this Court to segregate ballots received after November 3, 2020. Justice Alito’s order dated November 6, 2020 belies that argument. And because Pennsylvania broke its promise to this Court, it is not possible to determine how many tens, or even hundreds of thousands of illegal late ballots were wrongfully counted.”

“Why doesn’t it go to congress”

Why do you trust Congress? I don’t. And I don’t trust those states where the theft occurred.

I want Trump to declare martial law, and have a redo in those crooked states. So I will not be shattered if the Court chickens out.

What everyone needs to remember is that, of the two issues, the Georgia runoff is actually more important than Trump emerging victorious over the Biden steal.

Biden in the White House is horrific, but with a Republican Senate, there will at least be some check on his actions.

If we lose Georgia - and therefore the Senate - it won’t matter if Trump gets a second term. The House Dems will impeach him again (probably using his election challenges as their new ridiculous excuse). A compliant Senate will vote to convict and remove him, and the Dems will pull the same crap to also remove Pence, maybe even simultaneously. Then it’s Nancy Pelosi in the Oval Office.

I told wife earlier this AM that I expect the typical Friday evening (probably between 6 and 7 ET tonight) “news dump” that SCOTUS will ‘decline’ to get involved - despite the fact that there are absolutely unbelievably compelling Constitutional issues at stake here.

Also read that Texas’s opening statement in the suit said something about this case being about whether the Constitution still has meaning, or is simply an old piece of parchment on display at the National Archives (or wherever it’s stored). That’s really what it all comes down to. But I fear that the Constitution no longer does have meaning, because we’ve seen time and again no end of legal gyrations to get around what it DOES say. And I fear this time will be no different - especially with that traitor Roberts on the bench.

I long for the day when Free Republic has been purged of all these FLeepin’ Negative Nancies!

It goes both ways (Sessions got a plan, Durham going to kick butt, Barr’s finally going to do something, Someone is going to jail over the coup attempt, etc...). In the long run, it’s just someone is just expressing their opinion.

I like a lot of people here are negative about a lot, but I feel I have that right to be after so many disappointments. All of our institutions expect the Presidency have let us down lately, I have no faith that the Supreme Court won’t follow suit. However, if a miracle happens and they do the right thing, I would be ecstatic!

They will punt.

And establish a precedent for election corruption for all time?

You’re right. If Pennsylvania followed Alito’s order to segregate the ballots, why did Alito issue a second order on November 6, 2020 (3 days after the election)? If Pennsylvania did what Alito wanted, Alito wouldn’t have issued a second order. I am convinced that Alito is angry at Pennsylvania.

For the first time I'm wavering a bit in my belief and hope that justice will triumph here. I wonder if the fix is in and SCOTUS will simply punt. Of course, there will be a 3,000 word ‘opinion’ full of legal gobbledygook as the Republic is euthanized.

The media is unreal this morning. Headline after headline painting Trump and his legal team as practically trying to overthrow the country. It's Orwellian. The exact opposite of what's really going on.

“Why Trump supporters won't accept election results.”

“Reality check for Trump's fantasies. Judges aren't his pawns on election results.”

“The ‘Trump Won’ Farce isn't funny anymore.”

“Seditious abuse of the judicial process” (This gem from
Politico)

etc etc etc ad nauseam.
