The USA shows excess deaths, unlike Ireland.
Excess deaths are tricky to read as most places show excess deaths in April when COVID attacked the most vulnerable, coupled with poor treatment (ie. too much use of ventilators). The most vulnerable people are already dead, or are immune now because they survived. Death rates always go up in the winter so we may see more deaths overall in the winter, but this is normal. And we don’t know how many deaths are due to the effects of the lockdown, versus a virus. I really don’t see how Coronavirus accounts for any excess deaths anymore.
So what is the point? The point is clear Flubros and Flubras - a death by COVID is worth 1000 other deaths. You must consider that COVID attaches a special significance to those who test positive using a PCR test. These people are like the Greek Oracles of millennia ago, the Kings and Queens of monarchies around the world, or like a modern day celebrity campaigning against climate change. They are more special than us and they must not die.
