Time had a tough decision to make...George Floyd, Greta a second time, President of Chop Zone or these two. I think they made a good pick.

I say its BS. According to their own criteria, the choice goes to "a person, thing, or idea that has, for better or for worse... done the most to influence the events of the year"

Biden was barely in the news for MOST of this year, nobody paid attention to what he said or did (except when his gaffes made the news), and even stealing the election towards the end of the year isn't even "his" doing, but rather the people controlling him.

Kamala Harris barely had an influence this year as well, the only time she was in the news was getting her ass handed to her in the debates by both Tulsi Gabbard and Mike Pence, and briefly as being named Joe Biden's affirmative action pick (which was met with a shrug)

I'd say the person who fits the criteria for 2020 OVERALL would be Dr. Anthony Fauci. I don't like him one bit, but to be perfectly objective, he has "for better or WORSE", done the most to INFLUENCE the events of this year.

(And I know other FReepers will probably all disagree with me on this, but The Grim Reaper should have been Time's Man of the Year in 2016, not Donald Trump). This proposed cover summed it up perfectly:
