'There cannot be a peaceful coexistence': Rush Limbaugh says the US is 'trending towards SECESSION'

Rush Limbaugh has warned that the US is 'trending towards secession' because 'there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life' in one nation.

The conservative radio host, 69, predicted that some states may soon break away from the rest of the US and declare independence, sparking the same set of circumstances that led to the American Civil War.

His comments come as 18 states have joined Texas in launching Supreme Court legal action to toss out millions of votes in four battleground states in support of Donald Trump.

Hardly. When Rush gets it wrong, he usually gets it really wrong.

Far more likely than secession is we burn down the blue cities and scatter their survivors where they can do little harm - like to Canada. But not to Alberta or BC which should welcome as new states. Maybe Saskatchewan and Manitoba, too.

The ‘Rats have been stealing elections for decades and the US has NOT been trending blue - that is largely a media lie and the sheep effect.

Many liberals would pack and leave. Others would assimilate. Cities will wither. At least that is one of the scenarios.

It’s so funny

I love Rush and have listened since before his tv show but I’ve always disagreed with Rush and talk radio in general on their steady pep rally GOPe rah rah and slavery racism as original sin fixation

Now here we are

I was right all along ....as were my ancestors at least on the right to split off

Facing what Is most likely....he as much admitted a few weeks ago....his end

He’s one brave resolute hombre

Utmost respect for that ...sometimes I get water eyed listening to him honestly wondering. How long he can hold out

He’s also along with Magnus Newt and now Trump ....one of the most important leaders on the right past 40 years

BS! This is a lie. I listen to Limbaugh 5 days a week. He said no such thing. He merely commented on the numerous articles about this subject and the emails he receives concerning the same.
Rush stated clearly that he does not agree with or endorse this sentiment. Nor does he endorse a third party for the 74 Million Trump supporters.
He does however endorse Trumpism and believes that Donald Trump has transformed the party for the better. Limbaughs position is we do not need to leave the Republican Party as Donald Trump has already transformed the party. And, Limbaugh believes that we simply need to drive the RINO’s and bought and paid for Republican Establishment types out of the party. Let them try to start a third party. Which is in his opinion a losing proposition.

If you are going to the trouble of dis-entangling yourself from the people’s republic states like California, cleaning up the mess in your own backyard is far easier. Cut off their welfare checks and most of them will waste no time relocating to another sugar daddy.

Toss out the Soros DAs and and left wing judges and start getting serious about dealing with career criminals and you will probably take care of the rest.

The key to something like this is you can’t keep the status quo or you will be right back in the same place in 5 - 10 years. You want to emigrate from california? Fine, but you can forget about voting anytime soon. Plus you start establishing standards for voting like property ownership, raise the voting age, etc.

I think we have advanced the technique of bread and circuses far, far beyond the Romans. The Romans were pikers compared to us in a lot of ways in this department, at least so far in my opinion. You can see it by the actual results.

Our poorest are the most likely to be obese, and we are the most passively entertained humans have ever been. Almost everyone can just look at a screen to entertain themselves when they want. And we are the least used to sustained physical exertion than in any point in recorded history, as well as being the least used to doing it in harsh outdoor conditions. It’s like a sci-fi dystopia novel setting, but it is our reality.

It seems like a horrifically perfected and sustainable application of bread and circuses to me. What prior civil war would have ever happened if things were like we have now?

It’s time to have this serious discussion.
We have reached the breaking point in so many ways.
Geography and it’s labels will often change in order to keep pace with history.

Secession would weaken America’s national strength against outside invaders. Not a good idea.

He is and has the guts to say it. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary people. I hope Rush lives another 50 years, but chances are he’s playing the short game. He has nothing to lose. I’d prefer succession over a civil war. If it could be peacefully done. But when it comes down to it, I don’t see a soft-landing however this goes. And I’m not quitting.

I wonder if we could pay them to take DC?

Where shall the new capital be? Dallas?

The disciples of Marx, Gramsci and Alinsky want most of us dead and the rest enslaved. No accommodation, no peace can EVER be made with those who simply do not believe that your life belongs to you. The only answer is to KTF.

“THEY should secede.”

Doesn’t really matter, we will take our Constitution with us and re-form the US as the founding fathers intended. The verbiage isn’t important

WE love America. THEY should secede.

True, but they won't. When we secede, they will swiftly starve, collapse, and surrender.

Then we send them to reservations! ;)

Agreed. Thank you. Secession is too permanent!! And it’s just plain giving up!! Better for Republicans to regain House majority in 2 years. Maintain might in Senate. And, meanwhile, impeach Criminal Biden........

Unfortunately it's mostly urban vs rural, making any geographical division rather difficult.

Secession would weaken America’s national strength against outside invaders.

Joe Biden wants to invite them in. Give them driver licenses, voting rights, free medical care and education too. But secession is not a good idea?

I see absolutely no sign of that happening. The left has been kicking our asses for decades and we have just taken it. Unlike the left, which is well organized, we are all armies of one.
