Well, you just have to be wealthy to be a philanthropist, not necessary to earn wages over that.
And the elves all seem quite happy also contributing to the betterment of the world through giving. I dont have insight into any legal agreements between the elves and Santa, but I expect they have a perfectly acceptable labor/wage exchange, probably using bit coin as currency...lol
I suspect Santa’s son Hunter Claus has been stowing away on those long sleigh rides and picking up big bags of Chicom cash in Beijing. Did you ever wonder why that big bag of toys never goes empty? It’s because Hunter is stashing the cash there for the trip home.
