Flubros and Flubras! Day 258 (a place for Flubros and Flubras)

It’s just the flu, bro.

So many people over 65 have learned a lot about heath and nutrition as a result of this Coronavirus fauxdemic. The increase in vitamin D levels alone may lead to an increase in longevity. This may go down as the first “pandemic” that fuels an increase in longevity, as opposed to a drop in life expectancy. This might not kick in right away, unfortunately, as governments are busy making it difficult for people to receive their routine health care as a result of Coronavirus lockdown rules.

Article above is somewhat related to the longevity views in previous paragraph.

Dailymail is trash - but they are getting the word out about nutrition and Coronavirus. The key point here is they are getting good nutrition advice out - the Coronavirus part is secondary. Things that prevent Coronavirus also prevent other causes of death, and this is what will help increase longevity over time.

The PCR test was initially validated by real viral isolates from the prior SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) outbreak of 2003.

However, researchers concede: “In the present case of 2019-nCoV (COVID-19), virus isolates or samples from infected patients have so far not become available to the international public health community.”

As of February 10th (the link’s date).

If you’d like a sample now, it’s available in every city and town in America.

“If you’d like a sample now, it’s available in every city...”

Not really. A bit like saying: “because I can feel the wind, I can tell that you farted into it last week”.

Lots of people with other illnesses are being diagnosed as cv19. Moreover, it is known that cv19 death numbers are being greatly exaggerated.

Today on local radio, another idiot conventional MD tried to explain how safe hospitals are, and how no one is being exposed to cv19 there. Lol! I guess he hasn’t read the first hand accts of nurses who worked in NYC and who have reported on the constant co-mingling of cv19 and non-cv19 patients - even in the same rooms. And for doing so, being fired from their jobs. But that is the norm for convention medicine.

The biggest problems with the PCR tests are 1) false negatives. If you get tested too quickly after infection, the swab may not be able to pick anything up. If that's the case, you can get a negative test (no COVID-19) and wind up testing positive days later.

Our local university does a saliva test on students. One of the football players tested positive with the saliva test and negative with the PCR test for next couple days.

IFR has been calculated in multiple studies over the course of months to be right about 0.65%. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/planning-scenarios-archive/planning-scenarios-2020-09-10.pdf

Thanks. I have cited that myself in my collection of stats, but which is based upon the IFR and not the CFR, the latter of which is what I found liberal "fact checker" sites were going by in attacking claims of a over 99% fatality rate, and which "debunking" liberals reference as fact. Thus I was looking for was the CFR based upon deaths versus positive tests.

Meanwhile though the MSM blasts the "US as leading in cases and deaths, even at a CFR of 1.9% the US has a lower rate than 76 other countries according to John Hopkins (December 7, 2020). Including Vietnam which was trumpeted as a model of containment. As well as countries such as Sweden, France, Canada, Ireland, Australia, Ireland, Italy, United Kingdom, Tanzania, etc.
