I doubt it. If she were willing to handle it to get it on to the tree, she could’ve removed it after getting the photo and released it without calling the wildlife people.

Or maybe they put up the tree and she hung the ornaments and then, later, this koala bear snuck in and climbed the tree and she snapped the pic. That’s how I’m reading it.

That said, in keeping with FR tradition I didn’t actually read the article so I could be wrong,

Koala wandered into the house after the tree was put up. Much like a neighborhood cat might wander into a house around here if you leave a door open.
