Is the Democrats’ Election Heist ‘Too Big to Fail’?
American Thinker ^ | 4 Dec, 2020 | Lynne Lechter

President Trump and Fox News enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship, until, loyalty already fraying, Fox betrayed Trump on election evening by prematurely calling Arizona for Biden. Only stalwart reporters such as Mark Levin, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Lou Dobbs, and Sean Hannity remain by Trump’s side.

Republican elected officials who retained power are mostly mute. Although the predicted Blue Wave never materialized as Republicans flipped House seats and Senate control is so close it will only be decided after the results of a Georgia runoff election are known, feckless state governors and attorneys general overseeing election preparations stood idly by as Democrats set up the apparatus for the big election steal.

Republicans in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania were the exception. Resisting the illegal power grab the Democrats had implemented by a massive mail-in-ballot scheme and extending, by three days, the deadline to vote, Republican state officials appealed to the Supreme Court. Their success should have been a slam dunk -- only it wasn’t. The already tainted Chief Justice, John Roberts, who seemingly rules outside the four corners of the law, sided with the three Democrats on the case. In a four-four decision, the lower court case stood. Not only was an illegal precedent set, but the incomprehensible decision also had a chilling effect and stopped other state officials, similarly situated, from appealing to the Court as well. The foreseeable mayhem that has occurred, post-election, is far greater than imagined.

If it’s too big to fail now, it will fail catastrophically later.

the Chinee have invested in 30-40 years of money and networks into every crevice of American institutions.

Just like the British did to China in the 1800’s.

The Chinese have funded US Gov’mt big time with loans since 2000....and those funds were “invested” at the direction of the Chinese and certain influential Americans, into key decision-making offices in academe, politics, media and industry.

A Biden administration will complete the roping in of the US military to the Chinese sphere of influence.

Dems have 4 solid votes on SCOTUS now. 3 Dems and Roberts. The idea they even need to “court pack” is silly.

Good morning Jim. I know your question wasn’t directed with me, but my opinion is the feckless GOP members have been bribed, blackmailed, or they are too fearful to act.

Roberts is gone. We should find out what he's being blackmailed with and use it to get him out. In fact, we should have done that about four years ago when he could have easily been replaced. The one I'm more concerned with is Kavanaugh because he sided with Roberts on Pennsylvania and if he does so again, it's game over. I'm hoping that was an anomaly, but it makes me nervous.

I have faith that Thomas, Alito, Barrett, and Gorsuch are strong enough to say that the election is not too big to fail. If they aren't, there would be no need to pack the Court. Instead, you would just pass unconstitutional laws with a big buildup during passage and their signing and then have the Court succumb to the same public pressures then that are surrounding the election now.

"And that tells you what, exactly?"

The silence among most Republicans in a position of power is deafening because the Democrats facilitated the shared goal of voting the irascible Trump out of office.

I hope Justice Cavanaugh is not a “never-Trumper,” but ingratitude is rampant too.

Yep. The election steal, like the now 4 year long coup, is provably bipartisan in nature.

Roberts' rationale is real simple: RINO George W. Bush nominated RINO Chief Justice Roberts. "Da Bushes" hate Trump, so Roberts has to hate Trump too. Therefore, Roberts blindly rules in favor of Biden, which makes George Jr. happy. All's well in Republican-land.

It's that simple: You don't need a law degree, don't need to know anything at all about Constitutional law or Founding principles, or know anything about the duties of state legislatures, or any of that kind of stuff. You don't need to know any of it. You just need to realize the childish, simplistic stuff I mentioned in the previous paragraph. "We don't need no stinkin' Constitution!"

Well, then - you give them a lot more credit than they deserve.

MY opinion is, they're all on the same team.

We will know soon. The heist is on full view on a videotape. GA and their lack of action over the clear heist will tell the tale

Trying to spin that the guy in blue jacket was an SoS monitor....but he helps with the heist.

I have less...on the big issues (e.g. Obamacare), he predictably sides with the Left...

A question: Does Roberts decide which cases are heard by SCOTUS, or is it a group decision?
