I despise the left and their dishonest euphemisms for so many things, one of which is “social distancing”. It should be called “anti-social distancing”. There is nothing social about avoiding other people, especially wearing a mask outside when walking around so one cannot even see another person’s smile.
Democrats are conditioning people to kneel and obey their forthcoming diktats...if Biden carries the day God forbid.
But it sounds as if he turned the camera and microphone off when he shot himself.
I can’t help but wonder how the press would scramble to avoid covering this at all if he had made some sort of speech to the class and did it on camera.
Sooner or later one of these kids is going to do just that.
As it is, the fact that this boy killed himself and this had to be announced to his classmates raises the risk of one of them attempting suicide, as suicides sometimes appear in clusters in peer groups.
And the school counselors will have to deliver baseless platitudes about how life is going to get better. And the kids will think them spineless idiots because the kids know better that it isn’t going to get better. And the Karens who are their mothers will go on being Karens. And the dads married to these Karens will go on being wusses instead of telling their Karen wives to stick it and taking their kids with them to a lockdown protest so that the kids can see that there are still some good people left in this world.
God, please have mercy.

I have seen and heard what I guess I’d call a dimming in many people in my circle of acquaintances. I notice a sort of hopelessness among them with social activities gone. I am an introvert, so I have had no issues, but I know there are people who need to be around other people and this is awful for them.
And these are adults. I can’t imagine kids and teenagers dealing with this upheaval. When I was that age the smallest thing was a major crisis.
It’s not just book edumacation kids are losing out on via remote learning. It’s many, many coping skills, derived from countless interactions with others, random people, friends, non-friends. Including having to put up with various forms of adversity, large and small.
This is what you get when you sentence the whole population of HEALTHY people to prison for no crime.
Many of them cannot cope and have no method to escape other than death.
I predicted this very thing the FIRST day they announced the shutdown. Also domestic violence is soaring and will not be known how high till many months AFTER the shutdown, as the government has now sentenced them to prison with their abuser with no escape.
The Freeper Karens should be ashamed of themselves but, like Democrats, they won’t be or admit this shutdown and masks was a colosal mistake from DAY ONE!

I’m a woman who lives alone and have a loaded firearm with me at all times. BUT...when grand kids (4 & 6 yrs old) are here everything is locked in the gun safe. Kids are curious enough, but when depressed and old enough to know what a gun is for (with access) that’s bad stuff.
