I had from my symptoms what I believe to be COVID in early January. Serendipitously I was treated with albuterol inhalers, prednisone and doxycycline..all drugs shown to be useful in treating COVID. I fully recovered after a few weeks.

My son has been asthmatic since he was 2 years old. PICU too many times to count, intubated, airlifted to ER’s, medical students brought in to observe him at teaching hospitals ... world class asthmatic. He’s now 37, got COVID last month, scared me half to death but he was back at work (admittedly online) in 10 days.

Anecdotally, I order 3 months at a time, and I haven't seen a shortage in albuterol since March when my canadian guy substituted a perfectly fine canadian generic for the name brand. I've asked and since then, there's been no problem with either generic or name brand even with increased demand. It's really cheap to produce and the American market is a cash cow for Big Pharm - it's only half a joke that they'd stop producing aspirin before they'd stop producing branded albuterol at $70-$450 a pop.

That’s good to know.
I have to use them anyway. I would have thought my asthma would make me more likely to catch it.

Ask about Advair and Singulair (and generics), and have a look at Canadian pharmacies.

Why do we worry about the flu when what we really need to do is shoot commies?
That’s my question.

And people who are allowed to take HCQ after early diagnosis are 80% less likely to die

What is the "likelihood of death" after early diagnosis, in your opinion?

It must be very high, huh? Otherwise, how could you measure an 80% decline with a small sample in a short time?

At Mercy Hospital Springfield in Missouri, a mobile morgue that was acquired in 2011 after a tornado ripped through nearby Joplin and killed about 160 people has been put into use again. On Sunday it held two bodies until funeral home workers could arrive.
