Not so much in rural deplorable US.
I can tolerate abuses and usurpation for a great span, and will exercise all of my franchise and liberties as long as we have representative government. I’ll not be involuntarily ruled by anyone unelected.

Exactly. Stability operations would demand disarmament even though Stafford Act forbids it in an emergency. Military us only useful for general law and order in case of rebellion and or insurrection per constitution. Military by definition is not law and order, it’s subdue and pacify.

A "huge majority" decide nothing. If Trump had sufficient force available to him and a suspension of habeus provided a legal fig leaf to have thousands of Democrats jailed, he should use it.
