Truth. Down the hatch!

Dangerously so.

I think the working definition of ‘limited’ martial law would be that most people say 99% of the population wouldn’t know anything is different. We’d go to work, municipalities would function as usual, there would be no tanks in the streets, but certain players high up who have been conspiring to basically overthrow the country would be soiling their shorts because the jig is now up.

It is perhaps, a shot across the bow. This Op Ad may be serving as a reminder of the latent power of the people to take up arms against the rise of tyranny. It’s designed to try to provoke the deep state to come out of the shadows. The ad is also a frightening reminder that a republic rests on the consent and agreed upon consensus of those it governs but that despotism is always one Executive Order away.

The Ad may also be a false flag to try to drain away the rising anger in many of an election taken from them. They wish to keep us conservatives flailing. It’s too neat and appearing in the Washington Times gives me pause. True movements like this need to start occurring in the states amongst the local voters. An ad like this in the DC media markets is designed to provoke the deep state and the Congress. I fear it may be an opening to try and have folks like us branded as anti government insurrectionists.

I actually detest the nuclear option but they have been asking for just this for a long time. And it’s much worse than 1860.

I agree this ad may be an operation designed to smear conservatives and to keep us flailing as we legitimately protest a stolen election.

At this point, I’m fine with it.

If law no longer matters - when the dems blatantly break any law they deem an impediment to their quest for power - I’m for whatever measures necessary to restore the Republic.

The courts are SO worried about “disenfranchising voters” by refusing to declare clearly illegal ballots to BE illegal, well, what about the millions of Republican - AND Democrat - voters who voted for Trump and are being “disenfranchised” by allowing this farce to go on?

Trump was LANDSLIDE winning this election on Election night. All of the swing states “coincidentally” stopped counting, and then retarted again later, and that lead suddenly magically vanished.

If OUR votes no longer matter, if the BALLOT Box no longer is the way to settle differences, then it WILL be the Cartridge Box to settle differences.

We either HAVE LAW and abide and work within it, or we have anarchy and tyranny.

And if it’s to be tyranny, then let slip the dogs of war.

The Democrats caused this, not us. Whatever bad things happen can be laid squarely at their feet.

Yep some things the Constitution just can’t fix. This is it.

This is inviting anarchy.

I did almost laugh out loud at this.

We now have a situation where important parts of the national security and Federal law enforcement apparatus have been actively engaged in a coup attempt for four years and have just had a massively fraudulent national election, but we're supposed to worry about the legal niceties and appearance of impropriety?

I am more certain than ever that either we'll roll over and accept a one-party state or resort to the cartridge box.

Either one will be a nightmare and will definitely "invite" anarchy. This isn't about legal niceties anymore, it's simply a contest of force, with or without a legal fig leaf.

'You mean like the last eight months?'

The last eight months (or what seems like two years) is just the band opening for the headline act. Even if the clouds parted and the sun shone through, the damage has been done.

” Martial Law is never limited.”

What is one example of martial law not being limited? (I’m drawing a blank)

No.
If elections in the several states have been compromised beyond reasonable correction, then the state’s legislatures per the constitution are required to nominate a slate of electors.... End of issue.
No more election redo crap.

If states legislatures can’t do it, then the Congress does it by state delegation vote. One state, one vote.

No military, ever.

Martial law? No. Not only no, but Hell no. Now is certainly not the time. However there is a strong probability it may be necessary if civil unrest spreads country wide with the rule of law being totally meaningless everywhere.

You’ve omitted the key preparatory phrase.

“Cry Havoc”....

All too often folks talk about war or war like conditions as a means of resolving a domestic problem.

Too bad it requires this clause. Havoc. Destruction, death of innocents.

You really don’t want that. And, I daresay you have no idea of what you’d be calling down.

Unless and until we have no recourse, then just so. But we do. Legislatures, SCOTUS, state delegations. We are not there yet.

Been there done that, wiped my bloody hands on a t shirt.

“..You really don’t want that. ...”

No. I don’t. You are absolutely correct. Havoc is a given when that goes down. But we’re not the people causing this sh*tshow.

“...until we have no recourse, then just so. But we do. Legislatures, SCOTUS, state delegations. We are not there yet...”

True enough. And of course, we will let it play out.

But when people on the Left constantly TELL us what they’re going to DO to us, I tend to start believing them, based on their bloody murderous history in the last 100+ years.
