The Arizona State Legislature has approved a Special Session under U.S. Constitution Article II §1.2 to choose and appoint Electors due to extensive corruption of law in the State.

A few us watched the hearing, and the special session is in the works.
Great if it happens.
PA and GA seem like obvious SCOTUS wins but we have to have the other states moving to change so the point won’t be moot.

The Michigan legislature is the weakest link (IMO). Especially with their House Speaker (Lee Chatfield).

There’s a hearing in Michigan tomorrow but (as of a few hours ago) they told Rudy he couldn’t speak.
Not sure what’s up with WI but the legal challenges there to the ballot stuffing seemed strong.

Didn’t one of the Reps say in the hearing that it is illegal to have a special session without permission under Arizona law? Probably why they invoked the U.S. Constitution to get around that. This is going to make the Governor very unhappy!
While Arizona just certified its 2020 election results, state law allows ‘five days’ to contest those results.
Poor governor. Nobody died and made him God after all.

Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem said, “There is a legal brief out there that says we are not tethered to state statue. When it comes to this one question, a simple majority can call the House and Senate back, and in a day pass a resolution, and cause those electors to basically be held. And it is binding. I’ll see you all in court.”
I believe this is true, and should be a blueprint for all these other state legislators who keep making process excuses for why they don’t do what the US Constitution clearly allows.
They should tell him to shut up or their first article of business in January will be his impeachment.
