An intense rivalry over guest appearances and TV ratings is brewing between Fox News and Newsmax, according to CNN.
Fox News sources told CNN that producers are now monitoring guest bookings on Newsmax, and pressuring guests who appear on both channels to stop going on Newsmax.
Fox News denied to CNN that there was any directive from management for guests to stop appearing on the competing network.
Business Insider has contacted Fox for comment as well.
Newsmax told CNN that the pressure from Fox was indeed real. Its CEO, Chris Ruddy, accused Fox of an "anti-competitive violation" by trying to block guests.
CNN cited Fox News sources responding with the words "Welcome to the big leagues."

I get NewsmaxTV and OAN Encore on Roku, through the Pluto channel.
Newsmax is media just like the rest of them. They use business models like Fox does as well and they were smart enough to realize that they could siphon off some Fox viewers when Fox had decided they could siphon off some CNN and MSNBC voters if they went further to the left and became more ‘mainstream’ (or DNC in other words). If Newsmax thinks they can change their model to get more Fox, MSNBC, and CNN viewers, then they will do that also. None of them really give a rat’s ass about reporting the truth.
You can watch Newsmax online via the Roku channel also. Roku signup is free I know. Watch over the pc or thru a roku device.

Time for a list of people that want to blow Fox.
I want to like Newsmax. However their website is extremely lacking. They have a short window of time to prove excellence.
Screw Fox News. We conservatives have left and are watching new channels.

Which is interesting because it’s a CBS/Viacom company. But maybe they value making money.

That said, he is more in touch than half the people here on FR who think we should just move on as Trump’s days are over. Bannon is not a quitter like so many GOP pols and pundits.

newsmax is more lucky than smart. It is a cheep low budget channel with minimal news and lots and lots of opinions. It shows are annoyingly repeated.
The media was counting on people trapped in the legacy media.
