Yes she cut but it was still very long. I have long hair and I have to threaten the hairdresser with death or they will happily chop three inches off. 😣
Back in the eighties Hương, a việt Kiều friend’s 16 year old daughter cut off her knee length hair to be more “American.” She didn’t like the result and let it grow out again. Six months later it was back down to her waist. She was very slim. I suspected her body put all it’s calories into growing hair.

“Highway Star” or “Radar Love” does that to me...
I knew a girl with hair like that in college (though not as well as I would have liked to know her....). Taking care of her hair took her 2-3 hours per day. Beautiful, but very high maintenance.

“Burn” is one of my favorites; my band and I used to play that, as well as Highway Star, Lazy, and Lady Double Dealer.
So yes... I HAVE heard of Purp... :^). Blackmore is one of my favorite guitarists. Liked the music he made with Ronnie James Dio too, in Rainbow.
