I just shut that feature off.
A little late in answering, but yes, I got it on my phone. So did my daughter and my son-in-law — we are signed up for amber alerts and severe weather alerts.
I literally ‘flipped the bird’ to my phone when I saw what this one was ...
I think I figured out how I got it. I have a relative new phone number. It maybe possible the person who had the number previously signed up for it. I’ve received Amber Alert in the past. That I do not mind.
