.22 hornet. A bottleneck Center fire round. People hunt deer with .223 / 5.56 AR rounds regularly.

A .22 Hornet is a centerfire with the velocity of a .22 Manum.
5.56 × 45 is, essentially a .22 caliber.
That said, shot placement is key.
Everything on the planet has been killed with a .22 LR.
